We offer more than just plants and products. Discover a range of services designed to support you in the garden center, at home, and beyond.

Plant Repotting

Whether you bring plants and containers from home or purchase new ones in-store, our team can handle the repotting—giving your plants more space, fresh soil, and added style while saving you time.

For walk-in service, we recommend bringing no more than three plants at a time. If you have more, you’re welcome to call ahead and schedule time with the team. Appointments can typically accommodate up to five plants.

Repotting services are priced by planter size, with orchids, window boxes, and custom large-scale planters priced hourly. Please note that we do not offer bonsai repotting.

  • 2–4" planter = $4.95 repotting fee
  • 5–8" planter = $6.95 repotting fee
  • 9–12" planter = $9.95 repotting fee
  • By the hour = $72.10 repotting fee

Plant Rentals

Bring natural beauty to your next gathering with our plant rental service. Perfect for weddings, parties, corporate events, photo shoots, and more, plant rentals offer a flexible way to add greenery and style without the long-term commitment.

Choose from a variety of plants and containers available at your local garden center. Please note rented plants are not repotted and must remain in their original containers. Decorative pots may also be rented to enhance your display (simply nest containerized plants within them), and burlap is available to purchase for rustic, elegant coverage.

How Plant Rentals Work

  • Rental Rate: Plant rentals are 30% of the retail price of each item
  • Rental Period: Typically up to 72 hours
  • Agreement Required: A signed Plant Rental Agreement is required prior to rental
  • Availability: Rentals are based on what is available at your local garden center
  • Delivery Available: Delivery and pickup may be arranged for an additional fee

Rental fees may be applied toward the purchase price if you decide to keep your plants after your event.

Care & Return

Our team will review care instructions with you before pickup, and plants will be watered prior to rental. During rental, you are responsible for watering and proper care. Plants will be inspected upon return, and you may be charged the full retail price if items are returned in unsatisfactory condition.

Please note:

  • Plants are rented in their original containers and will not be repotted
  • Decorative containers may be rented separately
  • Some seasonal plants—such as flowering annuals (excluding hanging baskets), poinsettias, and mums—are not recommended for rental due to their short lifespan; these should be purchased instead
  • Special orders may be available with store approval

Delivery & Installation Services

Bring your garden dreams to life without the heavy lifting. Gardener’s Supply delivery and installation services make it easy to start or expand a raised bed garden and add trees, shrubs, and perennials to your landscape. Allow our experienced team to handle delivery, assembly, and planting so you can skip right to the enjoyment phase.

Delivery Service

We offer convenient delivery of our Vermont-made raised beds plus trees, shrubs, and perennials from your local Gardener’s Supply garden center. Whether you're also scheduling installation or planning to handle setup yourself, delivery saves you time and energy and simplifies your project from the start.

Delivery fees are based on your distance from the garden center and are calculated at the time of purchase. Once your order is placed, our delivery team will contact you to confirm details and timing. If you opt for installation as well, delivery is coordinated to align with your scheduled service(s).

Raised Bed Installation Service

Our raised bed installation service includes professional assembly and placement of Gardener’s-Supply-made beds and planter boxes so your garden is ready to grow. Whether you start small or order a more extensive setup, we’ll ensure your raised beds and elevated planters are properly positioned and installed.

What's Included

  • Delivery coordinated with installation
  • Raised bed assembly
  • Placement in prepared area
  • Filling with purchased soil (soil not included)

Optional Add-On Services

  • Irrigation installation
  • Sod removal (top 1–2" only)
  • Planting(s) of annuals, veggie or herb starts, perennials, trees, or shrubs
  • Application of mulch or straw (required product included in service charge)
  • Addition of weed fabric (required product included in service charge)
  • Wood staining (required product included in service charge)
  • Arch trellis installation (for 2’ x 4’ or 2’ x 8’ Planter Boxes)

Your Pre-Installation Checklist

  • Flag or stake raised bed sites
  • Clear debris and obstructions
  • Ensure area is mostly level
  • Ensure access to water

Please note:

  • Installation does not include removal of existing plantings or obstacles
  • Sod removal is limited to the top 1–2"
  • Irrigation installation does not include burying hoses
  • Installation team may consult with homeowner if placement adjustments are needed based on site conditions
  • Only Gardener’s-Supply-made beds and planters are eligible

Plant Installation Services

Whether you seek a personal orchard, four-season structure, natural privacy, or a simple garden refresh, our installation service makes it simple to add distinctive trees, shrubs, and perennials to your landscape. We'll handle the digging and planting, ensuring your new investments have a bright future ahead.

All plant deliveries and installations will be completed within 21 days of purchase.

Your Pre-Installation Checklist

  • Choose planting site(s)
  • Clear debris and obstacles
  • Ensure access to water
  • Contact Dig Safe (811) to ensure underground utilities are marked in addition to septic systems and electric fences (list Gardener's Supply as your contractor).

We will not install if Dig Safe has not marked the area.

Please note:

  • Removal of existing plantings or obstacles is not included
  • Customers are responsible for excess soil removal
  • Large root balls requiring equipment may incur additional fees
  • Mulching and staking may be available for additional fees
  • Installation team may consult with homeowner if placement adjustments are needed based on site conditions

Please note this excludes plants tender to your growing Zone. Gardener's Supply is not responsible for plants damaged by mechanical means, chemical means, pests, or extreme weather.
