Description
A weekend away shouldn’t be filled with worry about coming home to raised beds filled with roasted veggies. So, we took the convenience of self-watering containers and applied the same principles to elevated raised beds. The result? Our 2’ x 2’ Self-Watering Insert!
This simple, but innovative 5-gallon reservoir fits right into the base of our 2' x 2' Elevated Planter Box and our 2' x 3' Crafstbury Elevated Raised Bed — and when combined with additional inserts, it can elevate almost any size elevated raised bed into a self-watering one!
Designed specifically for elevated garden beds and planter boxes, this self-watering insert helps create healthier plants with more robust root systems. It reduces the need for daily watering, creates more even moisture throughout the bed, and promotes deeper water absorption as roots reach the reservoir. And since you'll mostly be watering from the bottom instead of the top, less water will be lost to evaporation too! Take the work (and worry) out of watering your elevated raised bed garden, and ensure stronger, healthier plants.
- Cedar, aluminum, polypropylene, PVC, silicone
- Insert is 22" sq. x 4-1/2" H and holds 5 gallons of water
- Assembly required
