There are heaps of benefits to gardening in raised beds — less bending and less tending, to name a few — but one of the most compelling, is the control that you have over your soil. We created a potting mix blended specifically for raised beds to help optimize your nutrient input, and maximize your harvest. With a larger percentage of garden-boosting compost, this mix is packed to the brim with stem-strengthening, fruit-fortifying nutrients and minerals to ensure that your raised beds raise healthier crops. It holds moisture for longer, while still allowing healthy drainage, and it’s less prone to compaction, so your roots have free range to roam and find their sweet spot. Take it from the donkey on the bag: this is a "kick-ass" soil mix, rarin’ and ready to supercharge your raised bed growing! Packaged exclusively for GSC and made by our local friends at Vermont Compost Company.
