At 29" high, this attractive elevated planter is the perfect height for easy growing, eliminating the need to stoop, bend, kneel and reach. It's a generous 10" deep so you can grow big plants like tomatoes and root crops like carrots. With 16 square feet of growing space, there's plenty of room for multiple crops, yielding a generous harvest.
Set up one or more of these beds on your patio to create a convenient and expansive kitchen garden, or fill them with flowers for a stunning display. Like our other Vermont-made raised beds, the sides of this standing garden are held in place with our rust-proof, industrial-strength Lifetime aluminum corners. Excess water drains through the slatted floor.
For best results, we recommend filling with 17 bags of our premium potting mixes:
- Cedar, Powder-coated aluminum corners
- 48" L x 48" W x 29" H
- Planting depth: 10"
- Soil capacity: 170 quarts (6.7 cubic feet) of potting mix
- Note: Planter boxes cannot hold regular garden soil, topsoil, sand, clay, or rocks. Please use potting mix only.
- Assembly required
