Plastic Pot Recycling

Plastic Pot Take-Back Day!

Where: Gardener’s Supply Company – Burlington & Williston, VT; Lebanon, & Greenland, NH; and Hadley, MA

When: Saturday, June 24 | 10am-3pm

Details: Stop by Gardener’s Supply Garden Centers to recycle your plastic plant pots! All pots with a designation/symbol of #2 or #5 can be recycled. Any size, any color! Prior to drop off staples, tags and debris must be removed and #2 and #5 pots need to be separated. Please watch the below video for details on where to find numbers on the pots and how they need to be prepped prior to dropping them off.

Gardener’s Supply Company is partnering with Prides Corner Farms for a Plastic Pot Take-Back Day at all our garden centers. On June 24, from 10am-3pm, customers can drop off their #2 & #5 plastic pots (including black plastic) for recycling at any of our five garden center locations.  From there, the plastic pots will go to East Jordan Plastics in Michigan where they will be recycled and turned into new pots for horticultural use.

Passionate about taking care of the planet? We’re looking for volunteer groups from our communities in Chittenden County (VT), Rockingham and Grafton County (NH), and Hampshire County (MA) to help with this event. Please contact greenteam@gardeners.com for details.
