It's not easy to keep a determined woodchuck from raiding your garden, even with humane traps or an electric fence. Create a protective border around your garden with Critter Ridder. The pungent, pepper-based control repels with both odor and taste and keeps working for a full month.

Not helpful for cats
By Ruth in the Desert
from Ridgecrest, CA
About Me Do-It-Yourself
I used this product to deter a cat that uses my yard for a litter box. It did not cover much of an area & the cat did not seem to mind it much. The product you used to carry, "Go Away Rabbit, Dog and Cat Repellant" was much better.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Ineffective against raccoon
from Union City, CA
2 lbs on 80 sq. ft. was ineffective against a raccoon that decimated my garden the night after I applied "Critter Ridder"

Worked great for me

About Me Novice
Surprised to see the negative comments. Been buying products for years in an effort to keep squirrels from digging up bulbs and rabbits from eating leaves. Watched them do damage all day long. Even bought an expensive Bell & Howell product. Nothing worked. Picked this up in spray form at Lowe's. Sprayed my little area of landscaping twice in 2 months, and the squirrels/rabbits won't come near it. Not only do they stay off the sprayed area, they're not even in the yard. I recommend it highly. Be sure to apply exactly as directed on the bottle.
Really does the job especially on woodch

I didn't notice any change in the woodchuck's behavior. [...]. I was unaware that my local hardware/gardening supply company carried the same product.

Groundhogs still rule the yard
By Groundhog Eliminator
from South Plainfield, NJ
Altho the product was easy to use....it did not help my groundhog situation. I sprinkled lots in the current groundhog hole under my shed and around the perimeter of my garden area...the hole was back the next day and something has been invading my garden which i suspect is the groundhog as the plant destruction seems to be the same.
Seems like a good product

Used around known areas of ground hog invasion....seems to be keeping it confined...
*Very disappointing, didn't work for us!
By Sick of squirrels.
from Villa Rica, GA
About Me Getting Started
Was not effective as advertised. The squirrels had no problem with it. The mourning doves ate the granuals, and the spray didn't seem to bother the squirrels or cat at all. Very, disappointing, feel we were sold an ineffective product. We didn't skimp on it either, if anything we applied it quite heavily. It was a lot of money to "throw away & spray away". Would like my money back!!!
