You may need only one compost bin most of the year, but where can you put that mountain of leaves every fall? This wire bin holds 16 cubic feet (102 dry gallons) of leaves, grass clippings and garden scraps, without the investment of an enclosed composter.

East to put together and doesn't take up much space
I had been planning to put together a composting system using chicken wire. This is so much better and easier. Doesn't scratch like chicken wire, easy to move unlike other composting systems.
I would buy this again.
This contains my grass clipping and leaves and contains them well. Before I just piled them in a corner of my garden.

Nice bin with heavy metal wire walls
from Tannersville, New York
This is a nice sturdy wire bin composter but not quite as good a design as the larger composter. The first week it was up, the animals knocked it over even though it was pinned down. It is worth investing in larger size if you have room. If not, this is the model for you.

Low maintenance composter.
I have used this product for several years. I mistakenly damaged the unit and replaced; this is a great product.

Easy to assemble - sturdy - great groundhog fence!
By Gardener Ginny

I purchased this to use in my grow beds as a fence to keep groundhogs and deer out of my garden. The dimensions fit just inside the grow bed sides perfectly (one panel on each end and two on each side). The height is enough to protect most of the garden but the deer are still nibbling off the tops of the tomatoes and anything that grows out through the holes in the wire bin. We seem to be getting a good crop so far this year so the bin/fence is serving it's purpose. Excellent for keeping out the groundhogs! (They had helped themselves to my parsley before I got the fence up) I did use the plastic clips that came with the bins and they worked well. I'm not sure how they will hold up to use for the second year but I should be able to zip tie the bin walls together for future use if needed.

These corner clips are useless!
About Me Avid Gardener
Don't you guys think it's time to provide decent corner connectors? The old-style spiral corkscrews were so much better. I bought this composter yesterday at your store in Williston, and the clips all broke trying to assemble it today, so I had to tie all the corners together with twine. I've just read all the reviews here to see what others had to say about this problem. Out of 88 reviews, 41 people complained to you about the plastic clips, and out of 104 reviews for the 3-bin model, 57 people complained about them. Yet your stock "merchant response" repeatedly tells us to "contact us and we will work to get this issue resolved right away!" You have been replying this way for at least 5 years now, to at least the 98 people that I counted here, and yet you still haven't done anything to resolve the problem! Why not??
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Easy set up and very sturdy.

I believe bugs, wind and rain are key components to healthy compost. So, I like open wire composters. I put this together in about ten minutes. Set it in a nice sunny spot near the garden and started filling. It's very sturdy.
