Most sprinklers shoot water high into the air where it quickly evaporates or gets blown off course by the wind. This innovative sprinkler applies water at a lower arc, so more water reaches plants and less is lost to evaporation and wind. A control knob lets you fine-tune the coverage area to spray just where you want it to further conserve this precious resource — no more overspray that wastes water on the driveway or the road.

Comments about Wind-Resistant Sprinkler:
Have looked at many retail stores for a HEAVY sprinkler that won't move around and will withstand a lot of use by a not so gentle person! It's winter now so I haven't used it yet but can't wait to try it! I think I will like it!
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

works well enough

It is not immune to being blown by winds, or even brisk breezes. But it does spray a low profile and I believe they are correct in saying that this saves water. I like its heft since my old one tended to move around when not placed in the grass and blowing out air on starting.

I purchased two of these sprinklers, hoping that they would perform well. I was pleasantly surprised to find that both do a great job! When the sprinkler is oscillating back and forth, the water level 'drops' in the center part of the oscillation, and increases back to normal levels as it reaches the end of each side. It's difficult to explain, but it really does prevent a lot of spray flying off into the air due to winds catching it. I'm going to buy 2 for my sister for Christmas, I know she will like them too!
Sprinkler is really wind resistant.

This sprinkler does not feel plastic and it's performance shows it. I have high winds and this sprinkler soldiered right through this problem. I want another for the front yard.

About Me Getting Started
I have never spent this much money on a sprinkler before and I am so disappointed in this item. It quit oscillating the second time I used it. Now it only sprays straight up in the air.

What an improvement over the product (not purchased from gardeners) I had been using> The cost of this sprinkler is certainly less expensive than having my irrigation system fixed.

I was surprised at how much water the sprinkler put out as it doesn't look like it!
You want the best

I took a chance and bought two of them. Sole use thus far has been watering the lawn. Based on current drought conditions that has been about every 3 days. Easy to adjust location in yard. Low trajectory for water coming out has really prevented the wind from blowing the water everywhere and heavier weight of sprinkler has served as an anchor. Thought it was a bit pricey at first but was hoping it would last longer than the normal sprinkler and it is currently doing just that.
