Styled for cozy comfort, rugged reliability and ease of movement while reaching and bending, our Wildwood Field Jacket will become your favorite outerwear when there’s a chill in the air. The stain-resistant, thorn-resistant canvas is tough but not stiff, and the petal-soft fleece lining in all the right places keeps you warm without bulk. Longer in back for coverage, with smooth, acetate-lined sleeves for non-binding comfort as you work, play and relax. Loads of other smart features, too.

Comments about : Wildwood Field Jacket:
A very pleasant surprise. I didn't hink I would like this jacket as much as I do. Sturdy, well constructed, and seems tough. The real test will be this fall in the garden. As a replacement for my old barn jacket, I think this will perfectly fill the bill. Size S fit me well. (I'm petite 5'4".) I only wish it were about 2 inches longer to cover more hip and had bigger front pockets for carrying. Color was a bit brighter than pictured, but not a major flaw.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Stylish & Comfortable
I got this jacket to use as a lighter weight jacket for fall and spring outdoors activities. Pockets are roomy enough to carry essentials for a short hike & the articulated sleeves and shoulders are great for hiking. I was lucky to find the mushroom color on sale in my size -- a great value.
Perfect between seasons jacket

Perfect for in-between weather when too cold for lightweight jackets and too warm for heavy coats. I use it for errands around town as well as for work in garden.

The siZe I usually wear, large, was too small in this jacket. It was uncomfortable. I returned it. A jacket for garden work shoould not only be comfortable but should be roomy enough to move your arms vigorously without binding.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Very nice jacket
This is a nice warm jacket with adjustable tabs in the back. It seems sturdy enough to handle yard work. My only regret about it is the garish color -- would have much preferred black, brown, or tan.

I like it so much, I don't want to get it dirty. If there were another color I liked, I'd get two!

Nice, light weight jacket being worn for running errands, etc. Looks good on with the fitted cut and just the right amount of fleece/substance for winter in the CA Bay area. Bought the blue one and it looks very much like the online photos. Very pleased and highly recommend.

Love the jacket

I bought the jacket in the fall so have had little chance to use it in the garden. Having said that, I have found many other uses for it. It is perfect for walking the dogs on those days when it's too warm for a winter coat and too cold for a sweater or sweatshirt. It has been perfect for shoveling snow this winter since it isn't restrictive in the arm area and is plenty warm when you are working hard. The sizing seems right since I bought a medium at 5'5'' and 130 lbs so I would have ample room to move when gardening. But it is also forgiving since I've gained 13 lbs over the winter and it still fits, even with a sweatshirt underneath it. I tend to be "hippy" and was worried about the slim fit but it still works even at this weight. My only regret is that i didn't wait for this final winter sale which would have saved me even more money. I bought one in brown for dirty work and one in blue for nicer pursuits. I am very happy with both. A hood would be nice for cold, windy days but I know it is basically a gardening jacket so I can't fault it for that.
