Comments about Whitefly Traps:
The bugs would attack and bite if I even tried to trim the plants. Extremely frustrating, even after using need spray. It seems they would multiply overnight! The product was covered by the next day. I saw immediate results.

I wish I could order the traps without each time I re-order I'm collecting the holder and I do not have any use for that many. However, the traps work great so I will continue to order.

About Me Avid Gardener
I put these in my raised beds and pots outside. I have been buying these at garden centers for years. They were usually just made of paper & deteriorated quickly w/the rain. Was very excited to see that these are more permanent.

This works well both in the house for houseplants and in the yard near infested vegetables growing.

Bug Sticky Trap by Potted Plants
A Must Have for the Greenhouse & Garden

I use these in my greenhouse year round. I hang them onto the tomato ladders and cages.I clip them around thin narrow wire fencing surrounding areas of the backyard. I clip them to thin dowel rods or wire and use them in flower boxes and other container gardening devices. Finally, I cut them into smaller size pieces and use them to catch insects that are bothering the houseplants. They work like "magic" and can be cut to various sizes, leaving the outer paper on while cutting,to accommodate the size of the plant.

Every year when I pot up amaryllis I grow a bumper crop of gnats! These traps do work so I automatically add them to the pots.

USE WITH CAUTION OUTDOORS...
I live in Naples, FL where we garden year round. I just started my vegetable garden in the raised trugs and thought I would give these a try. I was initially happy with the insects it was trapping until the second day of use a live lizard whose complete underbody from throat to the tip of his tail was stuck on it. I was finally able to free it without ripping its skin off but the glue that adhered to his body made him unable to move. I took him inside and washed him three times with a mild soap which didn't remove it completely but removed enough to give it the ability to walk. Not worth making another live creature suffer including birds and butterflies so I will not use or purchase these again unless for indoor purposes only.
