Eight independent university tests rated this patented landscape fabric #1 for stopping weeds. The porous, dual-layer
fabric lets air, water and nutrients pass through, yet stifles nearly all weed growth.

Excellent ground cover

This is my second purchase of weed shield. The first roll I purchased is still standing up well and it will be interesting to see how long it does last.

I bought this product again!

Although I haven't had it down long, I was very impressed with the fabric. The two layers give it substance without being heavy. It was a little hard to cut with scissors, but does just fine with a sharp utility knife on the sod. The 20 year guarantee was impressive also since I know from first hand experience that you stand behind what you sell. I recommended it to a friend who is starting a landscaping business.

This has saved me from the headache of constantly wrestling the grass and weeds that have previously ran rampant through our beds. Easy to apply and stays in place with mulch.

This mulch is durable for several years of use and is easier to walk on in the summer than some of the plastic ones that fry your feet.

I put this down on a path at the foot of my terraced garden beds. It was easy to use I just rolled it out and used some earth staples to hold it in place, then I put bark over it, and so far, no weeds. I'll update in twenty years to let you know if it's still working.

Not What I Expected
By Backyard gardener

The pictures are misleading, it is not the higher end fabric with extra heft to give it some stability. It tears with ease especially while installing. Unless you have a crew to put down mulch to keep it in place while anchoring it to the ground, you will find yourself with the fabric being lifted and moved by the slightest breeze. Meanwhile that breeze will most likely tear the fabric away from the pins you installed a dozen feet behind you, unless as I mentioned you have a crew of workers laying tow or more inches of mulch as you inch forward pinning it to your garden walkway. I would never purchase this product again. I may never purchase from this garden site again.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
