I've been satisfied with this produce for years now

Comments about Pro Weed Mat, 3' x 50':
I have used "weed cloth" from garden centers and hardware stores and this material, and the rolls that Gardeners Supply sells, do the job very much better, are durable (that is, they last more than a few months). This is essentially the same stuff they sell for construction fencing, and you can buy that in hardware stores and home supply stores, but with lathes stapled on. These rolls are a convenient size (my "paths" are 4 feet wide more or less) and are just the straight material, no lathes. And they prevent weeds and provide a good walking surface.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I love this stuff - hope it hasn't changed
By Kim M.
I use this mat to cover the walkways in my vegetable gardens to suppress weeds. I am still using some that must be 5 years old, but thought I'd get some new stuff for next year. I'm a little worried by the reviews that say it is not as durable as it used to be. I won't know til spring, but I hope it's still the same quality!

the older ones were much better
By gardener at Hummingbird Hill
from Neotsu, OR
I have some older weed mats that I placed years ago. They are still working just fine. The material from this summer shredded within months. I am so disappointed. I buy quite a lot from Gardener's Supply and have always been happy with their products in the past. This stuff is terrible. I will have to tear all the new stuff out and see if I can find something equivalent to what Gardener's Supply sold in the past.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
No more weeds in my garden

Worked great in our garden.
Pleased in the past, but shredded this year
By Gardening Grannie
Happy in past, but the rolls I got this year shredded within weeks when walked on. It kept weeds from growing, but disappointed that it got holes in it so quickly. Will try again next year with hopes of better quality.

Sturdy weed block.

About Me Budget Shopper
I find that this weed block is better in quality than similar products sold at my local nursery. Overall, the products sold by Gardener's are better which is why I shop here. Quality for the price is most important to me, Avid Gardner.

On paths in between raised beds in my vegetable garden
Does prevent weeds extremelmely well
By Morgan Hill gardener
from Morgan Hill, CA
Use this between vegetable rows and tomatoes and to make pathways in veg garden. Is effective at weed prevention and will last multiple years. Less durable than the same product from 3-4 years. Ago, but still very good.

Tons less weeding!
from Portland Maine
Definitely worth it. I just bought it this spring so I'm not sure how it holds up over multiple years of use. It's not as pretty as straw mulch between the garden rows but it does keep the weeds down beautifully without attracting tons of slugs (which the straw does).
