Grow the freshest food anywhere, even in the tightest spaces! Transform an unproductive space along a wall or driveway into a luscious and productive garden, convenient for snipping herbs or picking a fresh tomato on your way to the kitchen. Knee-high, so it’s easier to tend than an in-ground garden, with fewer pests and weeds. Deeper in back for large plants like tomatoes, shallower in front for smaller plants like salad greens and herbs, or cascading vegetables and flowers. This raised planter bed is also wheelchair accessible. Solid wood, with sturdy joints and a food-safe finish. A liner keeps soil contained while letting excess water drain.

Comments about : Trough VegTrug™, 18" x 72":
The Trough VegTrug was purchased for an urban school garden, specifically for the students in the lower grades. It is the perfect height for the little ones to plant and tend a garden of their own.

Think outside the trough (box)
from Arnold, Missouri
My nephew was being married. They will be living in the country and really like theoutdoors. This was a great and appropriate wedding gift . Thus---outside the trough thinking.

I'm using this on the roof. Hope that I mixed the soil properly to make sure it doesn't dry out too fast. Drains well through included fabric liner.

Overall very satisfied. Should have an option for casters, as once it's full you can't easily move it without them. Added my own.
Sturdy and Handsome for the Patio
By Jennifer S

Excited to see what can grow in my new trough this summer. It took an hour for my son to put it together and it is very sturdy. We filled it with dirt and a few early bird plantings. Being in the Pacific Northwest, it has been raining through spring and yet no mess on the patio from any leakage which was my concern. If I were to improve it, I'd suggest that it could be on wheels for repositioning.
I love it!! 3 of my friends have ordered too!
cant wait to get planting!

Bought this for a school garden for 5 and 6 year olds. It is a great height, nice size overall, lightweight, good looking. I like that it comes with its own liner. Was a little challenging to line up boards for assembly.

Easy to put together and very attractive on our deck

Mine went together fine. I did put a coat of protectant on it. But because the sides (and front and back) are slats, the soil is held in by fabric. So moisture evaporates rapidly from all sides, not just the top. This might be great in a moist climate, but in a dry climate, it is a total water hog. My water bill can't take it. I'm sorry that I bought it.

Took some time to assemble and parts of the instructions could be clearer, but filling in some gaps, the unit came out very nice and my wife was very happy. We're using it on screened in patio for herbs and lettuce. Seems like it should be durable and last some time
