Finials are a fun and easy way to create supports for climbing vegetables and flowers. Simply insert three bamboo canes or other stakes into the soil
and top with a decorative finial to create a sturdy tripod tepee. Finials accommodate three stakes up to 3/4" in diameter. Choice of Round or Fleur de Lis.

Comments about Garden Finial:
I was disappointed that the terra cotta appears so fragile. I had planned to use them on copper pipe, but think bamboo might work. I have coated them with a water seal in hopes that will strengthen them. I was aware they were only for summer, here in MD, but I am not sure they will survive even the canes being put in.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

A nice touch for the garden
from York, PA
I bought these on sale at a very good price. I later saw them in a store in Vermont. One was twice the price I paid for two. I have put them away to use next year (after I find the bamboo sticks on sale?). Love a bargain!
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Makes for a nice finishing touch at the end of bamboo stakes
Beautiful and easy
I bought four of these finials and gave two to a friend. They look great holding together three bamboo stakes. I made a tall obelisque and a shorter one for my perennial gardens. They look fantastic, and at the end of the season, I will be able to store them very easily.

Nice look in garden/extra touch
from LV, NV
Used on top of bamboo poles to create vertical growth area for cucumbers and squash. Adds an extra touch to look of garden rather than just tying poles together with rope/string/wire.

It is a 'had to have it' item. Yes it is very delicate, but I plan to use it With three 5ft.lengthts of copper pipe for visual effects.

Look nice, but.....
Like the looks of it, but it is hard to keep stakes in since it is clay (non-flexible) It is okay in a sheltered location, as the wind would blow them off at high speed and they are breakable. Maybe a flexible rubberized material would be more appropriate.

These guys are at my community garden and I am always getting positive comments from the neighbors. I love the inexpensive option for a tall support for my vining beans.
