If you have a really big tomato crop this year, will your plant supports be able to handle the load? Our exclusive Tomato Ladders are the sturdiest you can buy, because they’re made with 7mm steel uprights — 20% thicker than others on the market! They’ll last season after season too, thanks to a weatherproof powder coating. Best of all, our Tomato Ladders are better for your plants. The rounded-V shape protects plants from wind and accidental breakage. The seven cradle-shaped cross-members give multiple places for vines to rest, and make it easy to set the ladders into the ground. Tomato Ladders will make the most of your garden space, reduce pests and disease, and give you a bigger harvest of juicy, unblemished fruit — guaranteed!

I would not buy these again
from Fredericktown, PA
A waste of money. I used them with the tomato Halos and everything popped out of the ground and laid down. I don't thing the had a wide enough foot print to support a heavy tomato plant.
I would buy it again

I got it to support my tomatoes and it works perfectly. When i got them i put them right to the ground for my tomatoes and they grew faster and bigger than they did with a regular stick as a support.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
The only tomato supports that actually support
from NW Ohio
I usually use two of these per plant and loop baling twine around them to support huge tomato plants. They even stand up to large dahlias. I have had to repair couple that got overwhelmed in a storm, but they are worth it.

These are sturdy, tall, and the best design ever for tomatoes.

I haven't used these yet, but they are the sturdiest cages I have ever seen. I always have trouble with those thin metal ones collapsing. I look forward to using these next season.
Perfect for Romas in a Square Foot Garden

I've tried wire cages square and round, but these are way better. The red, rubber enamel paint is gorgeous and functional. These ladders go into the ground once, and you never have to worry about them pulling out or shifting for the rest of the season. The open ended triangle concept is perfect for tomato plants to grow and thrive. I point my open end away from the sun. You can use a little twine if you like as the season goes on, but most plants naturally wend their own way through these ladders. If you are a square foot gardener using Mel Bartholomew's mix, these are made for you!

We have several tomato ladders in various sizes and like their sturdiness. They don't tip under any vine load we've ever had. The only drawback is that some are three sided and you sometimes need to support the vines on that side.

These ladders won't let your tomatoes down. They are sturdy and just the right height and diameter. Just give your tomatoes a little guidance when growing and the ladders will do the rest.

Very effective at containing vegetable plants.

My tomato plants grew so large that even the square cages that I purchased from Gardeners could not contain them. So I purchased the tomato ladders and used them on my tomato plants and as a climbing ladder for my cucumber plant. The ladders easily handled both plants.
