Tomato Grow Bags
from Cincinnati, OH
This is the second year that I've used the orange tomato bags. I started with two. This year I purchased six more. I'm growing 8 heirloom varieties, all very conveniently on the front porch, because squirrels ruin every tomato that ripens on plants placed in my backyard. I live on a major thoroughfare; it seems to be a deterrent to squirrels inhabiting the front of my property. The ability to empty the bags at the end of the season, rinse them out thoroughly, dry them and fold them into a box for winter storage eliminates having to store empty pots. The matching cages are a great assist in controlling plant growth and supporting heavy tomatoes as they reach full size. The cages easily fold flat and can be stored in very little space. My relatively minor comment relates to the construction of the cages. My second group of 6 cages were slightly different than my original two. The bottom horizontal cage bars have been moved down; I like the original placement because when those cages are inserted into the bags, the bottom horizontals are just at the top interior edge of each bag, giving the bags a much neater, squared, appearance.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Love this product
from St. Louis, MO
So far loving this product. I did not have anywhere I could actually dig in the ground for a garden that had sun light. With this product you can put your plant anywhere. This is working well, the tomato plant looks awesome.

WOW! these are amazing
from Elkridge MD
I bought 3 of these and have 2 tomato and 1 zucchini plant in each, I also am using a Tropf Blumat water system hooked up to a rain barrel so I have to do NOTHING but watch, also used Miracle Grow potting soil. Im telling you its like Jurassic Park on my paver patio! the plants have tripled in 2 weeks and the are strong dark green and robust, at the same time I planted a tomato in the ground and it looks terrible compared to the bags. Only complaint and its really not a big deal, they do not hold their shape and it may be because I am not using the square tomato cages and am using round ones I had already. i plan to order more for next year, they are fabulous!

Won't use until next season, but looks like it is well constructed. I expect it will not look as attractive in its second year of use.

Have excellent plants growing in the bag. Folding the bag at the end of the season maybe a problem since the earth is fairly expensive and I would wish to retain it.
