Toads are good friends to gardeners, eating a remarkable number of slugs and cutworms, mostly at night. This inviting Toad House provides the cool, moist shelter toads need during the day.

Don't buy a toad house with a floor.

Comments about Toad House:
Toad houses must have open floors, so that the toads can feel the coolness of the dirt and be able to burrow down in the dirt.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I wanted to attract a toad and decorate my yard at the same time (I hear they eat slugs). I saw this particular toad house many years ago from a different supplier but was not quick enough to get it before it disappeared from their catalog. I searched for another but none had a design this cleanly cute. What a delight to see it in a catalog I already trusted!
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Out here in the country we have toads, but we also have hawks. The toad house will give my toads some shelter from the hawks that seem to think my property is a buffet.

This product is very nice from my perspective, but I have since done some more research and discovered the following.. Frogs like it better in a house with no floor and there should be a back door/escape route in case the frog is cornered by a predator/snake. I recently recovered a frog from our sump tank and put it in the Toad House. I haven't seen it since. Time will tell.....
Cute - looks just like the picture.

I bought 2 for gifts and 1 for myself. Unfortunately 1 of them was broken when received so I have to return mine. Hope they can replace it!
Can't wait for spring!!!

Will be using the toad houses (I bought two) in the spring.

This will be a welcomed addition to my private garden in the Spring. The quality is great, it is super cute and will add a touch of whimsy to the garden even if there are no toads that take up residence.

I like to encourage frogs and toads in our yard and garden and was going to make a toad shelter from an old clay flower pot, but when I saw this in the catalog I couldn't resist. When I received the toad house, it was so cute that I ordered a second one for a gift. It's winter now so I won't use it until spring. Even if a toad never uses it, it will be a whimsical garden accessory. The price is right too, expecially compared to "fairy houses" I've seen other places. I can't say yet how it will hold up to rain and summer weather.

This is so adorable I put it in my front garden under a little arbor vitae. I love frogs and I hope one finds it. It is very decorative and the prettiest of all the toad houses I've seen anywhere else.
