Squash and melon vines love to ramble about, gobbling up your precious garden space. Here's one of the best and most creative ways we've seen to grow these sprawling plants — with a strong arched structure that gets plants up off the ground where they can produce clean, perfectly formed fruits. As the plants flourish, they form a delightful leafy tunnel that's a perfect play space for kids or a shady area for growing salad greens. Holds up to 70 lbs. Disassembles easily into a small bundle for off-season storage.

Great tunnel creator
from Kennewick, WA
It's says for squash but I'm using it for beans. It's very sturdy and would definitely hold up to squash. It went together and was in place in an hour. You do need two people to put it in place. I live in a windy location and pushed it into the ground about 1 ft deep. I've had no problems with wind.

I ordered this along with two pea trellises. UPS did not deliver the squash tunnel. I contacted UPS and Gardner's and I could not believe how great the service was

About Me 8 Year fruit tree gardener learning to grow veg
I really like this trellis. It took me about 20 minutes to put together total. The only recommendation I have would be to offer different colors as it is a striking black. I am growing melons this year and with the good luck I've had from other vegetable trellises from Gardener's Supply I can't wait to see the results.#sweepstakes

I would recommend this product to others.
from San Ramon, CA
I was able to put it together by myself and I am 80 years old! I have placed it in tow raised beds so that it will make an arch over the path between. I have just planted cucumbers and many kinds of squash to climb up it. Can't wait for them to grow and see the vegetables hanging down from the arch.

Not only for squash

While this is advertised especially for squash,it makes a great archway for climbing vines or even roses . It does help to have an assistant for assembly.
