Grow your own garden plants from seed in a compact space with our Compact 3-Tier SunLite® Garden. This grow light system's footprint is just 27" long x 14-5/8" wide, so it takes up just over 2 square feet of floor space. It's easy to store, too — just roll it into a closet. Your seedlings will thrive in the glow of the bright, energy-efficient T5 bulbs — much brighter than "shop lights" for more robust plants — and the fixtures easily adjust up and down to accommodate plant growth. This complete SunLite Garden includes frame and fixtures, T5 bulbs, watertight trays and casters.

I set it right up in my kitchen and put the lights on a timer. They are already on when I come downstairs at 6 am. A very cheery reminder that spring is here.
Works great for our needs, despite a few inconveniences

The shelf is a great unit for starting seeds and growing herbs. It is as advertised. While we are very happy with the unit overall. However, there are a few cons: The instructions are not fully clear regarding construction. Better images might help and clearly identifying which way the dimpled bolt holes on the fram pieces should face would help. Also, the shelf pans are smaller than the shelf opening which is a waste of useable space. Lastly, the power cord on the sun lamps makes them hang at an angle - not straight. We solved this by strapping the cords to the vertical bars with Velcro straps. We also got a bad part, but customer service was on the job and responded quickly to provide the replacement part. Nice job!

I live in zone 5 so this is saving my succulent and cacti collection. Very little sunshine these days, and without this lighting, my plants would be dead.

Excited to own this System

Having read all of the reviews I have ordered this unit. I would love to know more from Raoul the avid gardener from Palouse about which 4 bulb unit he swapped in for the two bulb units. I agree whole heartedly that this unit would excel with 4 bulbs and have narrowed my choice down to 2.. based on dimensions of the 3 tier compact setup either one would fit but that is not always the case. I think that I will blend the blue and the red lights leaving a two bulb on the top tier and swapping in 2 of the 4 bulb units for seedlings. I have high hopes for this gardening season!
Perfect Sized Indoor Garden

I love the size of this unit. It is perfect for a space in a dark corner of my kitchen. Even with just one of the three lights on, I enjoy the brightness it brings. The unit is well made and sturdy, and I expect it will last a long time. The assembly took awhile but it was pretty straightforward especially if you keep referring to the picture of the completed unit. I do wish they had made provisions for cord management. The three lights each have their own cord and plug. I ended up using cable ties to secure them to the upright posts, but clips on the posts would have been helpful.
