They do what they say
Comments about : Terrazza Trough Planter, White:
The customer service is excellent. Love the planters. One of the 5 had a damaged reservoir and the replacement arrived quickly. Assembly was simple, all parts clearly identified. A week after planters filled, had a problem with the float on one of them. Both service people I spoke to, listened, suggested, discussed and formulated a course of action. I fully expect my problem will be solved.

Very. Sturdy, must order wheels so it moves easily.
Awful to put together, but otherwise really nice
I purchased three of these. It took me over 2 hours to put the first one together - awful! The instructions are terrible. But once I completed the first one, I figured it out and it only took me 25-30 minutes for the second one and about 15-20 minutes for the last one.Otherwise, they're nice and sturdy. I am concerned that when I've filled with water to a certain point they each reveal slight leaking at the bottom (as opposed to water reaching the stop line), but since my vegetables are all growing so well, I won't question what's going on. I'll probably even order a couple more next year.

This is my second set of Terrazza trough planters that I bought. I have had it for I think about 8 years now. What I love about these planters is that they are light weight. strong and just beautiful. Put on some casters and they even move easily. I only have a balcony as growing space so these are perfect. The only issue I had was the water level indicator had gotten stuck. I you live in the city like I do, they can get stained with soot.
This is the 3rd one I've bought

About Me Budget Shopper
Bought these for my 92 yr old mother who loves flowers but doesn't always remember to water them often enough. They are sturdy and look attractive. I am letting the water wick up before I put in the plants because customer service said it can take 2-4 weeks before working well. Hope these work well. If so I may have to buy myself some!

About Me Midrange Shopper
must-have for patio gardeners
from Cambridge, MA
I love gardening but live in the city and only have a large patio and a small deck to do so. Both are exposed to the sun from noon onward; great for growing plants bad for watering. During the summer I go away on weekends and always had to ask others to daily water the plants; not good for friendships and too expensive when hiring a service. I started purchasing these planters many years ago and own over a dozen in all different sizes. If it doesn't rain the water reservoirs of the planters will supply the soil with much needed moisture. If it rains too much, the extra water runs out of the pots; that is also important. Up to a year ago, I had only purchased the white planters because I found them most attractive. However, they don't age well because after a couple of years I can't remove the stains; even with a power washer. I switched over to the black planters and they look great and no stains are visible. Though these planters are not cheap, I would purchase them again and again. I placed wheels underneath all of them and am able to move even the largest planters. During the winter I cover them up with tarp. (It would be nice to purchase covers that are cut to size.
