In Italy, where style is everything, these innovative planters beautify residential terraces, side-street cafes, hotel lobbies and public courtyards. This large-capacity Terrazza Trough Planter is often the centerpiece. Make the planter mobile with optional casters, sold separately (each planter requires two sets).

I have had 3 Terraza trough planters and 1 raised bed Terraza planter for about 10 years now. I have used them to grow organic vegetables with great success. I am currently growing tomatoes, bell peppers and 4 blueberry bushes. I love how easy they make having a vegetable garden for somebody who is pregnant, has a toddler and holds down a full time job. My vegetables grow quickly and I get to enjoy gardening instead of dealing with constantly having to water and worry about the plants. With these planters, I just fill up the reservoirs once a week and fertilize as needed. I have moved the planters twice to new houses which I am sure has contributed to them finally cracking after so many years of sitting in the sun. I think the castors are a must so they can be rolled around on the patio for sweeping or hosing the area down. They are quite heavy when filled with moist soil. I now keep the planters in one spot resting on an open dirt area due to some of the sides cracking. They still function fine and are full of vegetable plants now. I am going to buy some more to place around the patio and pool area to grow even more vegetables. I love these planters!

I bought the Terrazza Trough Planter and Terrazza Square Planter and they both leak and now my brand new concrete floor (outside) has yellow brown stains from the soil. The Trough was for 3 lavendars and 2 of them died in a week. The Japanese Maple in the square planter is slowly browning so I don't know if that will survive another month.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
