Now you can enjoy all the advantages of raised bed gardening, plus the added benefit of watering weekly instead of daily. This stylish planter boasts two 4-gallon reservoirs that keep plants lush and green even in a drought. Its crisp lines and realistic wood grain look elegant on the patio, but it's tough enough to use in the garden, because it's made of crack-proof, fade-proof polypropylene. Nine square feet of growing area; a generous 12" deep so it's deep enough for root crops like carrots. Dual-action watering system keeps plant roots just moist enough without waterlogging them, and a water gauge tells you when to refill. Includes easy-fill funnel with cover and two styles of finials. Make the planter mobile with optional casters, sold separately (each planter requires four sets).

Comments about : Self-Watering Raised Bed, Bronze:
So far so good. I took one star off because a couple of points of construction were challenging. One was just because I was afraid to push hard enough to get it to lock together, but once I did it went together fine. The other was because there was a place where the directions were incorrect, but after looking hard at the drawings I was able to figure it out. I have only had it a couple of months so I can't speak to how long it will last, but so far it seems like a great product and I plan on buying more next season.

About Me Getting Started
Love this bed! The black color blends in with the landscape so I can leave it where it is year round. Pretty easy to assemble. Ordered a second yesterday!

I have limited sunny locations so a portable raised garden is my answer.
Terrazzo Raised bed

I have used the Terazza raised beds system for over 30 years. They have held up for two household moves and still look and work great. They are super easy to assemble and disassemble. Great product!

Best Raised bed in my greenhouse
from New Mexico
I have 7 of these currently and use them for growing greens in the winter greenhouse. The oldest ones I have are over6 years old and still growing strong. Temperatures in the greenhouse i winter can hit 80 during the day and freezing overnight. If the manufacturer hadn't changed the colors slightly, you would not be able to tell the difference between my older planters and the ones I bought this year.

Another great Terrazza product
By South Jersey Gardener
from New Jersey
I have so many Terrazza planters, I have lost count! I love how they are lightweight and sturdy and hold up after years of use. This was my first Terrazza raised bed. It was easy for my husband to put together, and lightweight enough that we could assemble it inside and carry it outside and place it where we wanted it. I am using it for my hummingbird-friendly plants such as various salvia species. I do think the amount of soil recommended, 230 quarts, is too little. I wound up using 14 bags of self-watering soil, which is 280 quarts. And now that the soil has settled some, I am wishing I had put in another bag. So my advice would be to buy 2 or 3 bags of soil extra, if you are planning to use Gardeners' self-watering soil. Otherwise, it's a great product and it matches all my other Terrazza planters.
I'd buy it again

The Raised Bed planter is roomy enough to grow dwarf raspberries but has a floor to keep them from spreading into my yard.

It looks great on our deck across the front of our home, we have six in a line across front.
from Owatonna, Minnesota
I bought 2 of these, thinking they would replace my garden. I planted tomatoes in them the 1st year and they turned out horrible. When it rains alot, the soil stays very wet and the plants were waterlogged. I had such high hopes for these planters, I haven't used them since. Waaaaay to much money to use as flower pots, but that's all they are good for. Would never buy again to use as a garden.
