Terra Cotta AquaCone® Watering Devices are an ingenious and attractive way to provide moisture directly to plant roots. Simply fill a wine bottle (or similar bottle) with
water. Place the AquaCone over the top of the bottle, then tip the bottle and cone upside down and place in the soil near a plant. Water will seep slowly into
the soil through the porous terra cotta and the small holes in the base.

No More Worries
from Hartland, VT
I love these. I had purchased some years ago and am still using those (they worked with water bottles)plus these new ones. I don't ever worry about forgetting to or overwatering my plants.

Great water saving device
from San Jose, CA
Great inexpensive product that keeps potted plants well watered, but saves water by providing only amount the plants needs.
Not What I Was Hoping For
from Buffalo, New York
I was hoping for a time-release watering system that would give my potted plants a few days of slow nourishment, but the holes in the bottom allowed water to be released within minutes. Further, extreme care should be made when adjusting them. I broke two almost immediately after receiving and "planting" them in my pots.
from Lubbock, TX
The water pours right through them, doesn't last for slow watering
I would not buy this item again.
from Andalusia, AL
The holes are too large, water does not seep out.Soil was wet and bottle of water was emptied in a few minutes. I bought several andwasted my money!
Not sure I would buy these again
from Chicago, IL
I had high hopes for these, they are quite large, I broke 1 immediate, and chipped another, and the holes at the bottom make all the water in your bottle drain out immediately instead of slowly seeping out through the clay surface. I have other water nurses with no holes that work better.
from Louisville, KY
I tried to use these with wine bottles to help keep my potted plants watered, but the very first time I used them they broke.
Tera Cota Aquacone watering device
from Sun City West, AZ
One of the cones shattered when I tried to press it into the dirt. It doesn't work unless the dirt is VERY loose and there are not many roots on the plant. Also, it should only be used indoors. The water disappears way too fast outside

Aquacone Watering Device Does Not Work!
from Martinez CA
Water runs right through until the wine bottle is empty. Tried 3 times in different pots. This is NOT a gradual watering system.
