Sized and contoured for comfort, this beautiful lawn chair is made from long-lasting teak. It's cleverly designed in two pieces that interlock to form a sturdy chair. When it's time
to move it, the seat section nests inside the back section, which has a convenient carrying handle. Teak will naturally weather to a beautiful silver-gray; to help preserve original
color, we recommend treating with Penofin Protective Oil.

Heaven is a spot to sit in your garden
from Philadelphia PA
I needed a spot to sit and rest in between spurts of working on my garden. I wanted something that was comfortable, had a back, didn't have arms (I am bottom heavy and Adirondack chairs are uncomfortable), and easy to move around. This chair is just perfect. I couldn't get over how comfortable it was, and it seems to be just the right angles to help me instantly relax. I missed the part about it not having any hardware. I was looking everywhere for bolts and screws and was ready to call Gardener's in a tizzy. But then I saw it just slotted together perfectly. It really is gorgeous.I love the look of it and now I want another one!
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Great chair for lounging in your garden
from Rhinebeck, NY
I bought this chair to use inside my veggie garden -- I wanted to be able to lounge comfortably, but the chair couldn't be too big, or too difficult to move, as the paths aren't that wide, and I need to be able to move the chair if it is blocking an area I need to access. This chair is everything I could have asked for, plus it's very handsome... and comfortable to boot! The handle makes it super easy to pull apart, slide into carrying mode, and move around. Just be aware -- you aren't going to want to lug this a long way, as it's teak -- and well-made -- so it isn't feather-light. But it's perfectly suited to storage and portable use in a specific area, like at the beach or in your garden. The chair has a nice, wide seat, and the angles are such that I can lay back, rest my head on the back edge of the chair, my feet up on the edge of the raised beds in my garden, and be perfectly happy! And becauase the seat is wide and there are no arms, I can also sit comfortably curled up or cross-leggged. This chair is a bit expensive, but it's well worth the investment.
