Started hundreds of plants
from Pocono Mountains, PA USA
Bought this product discounted 20% in Jan 2016. Shipping was prompt. Moderately easy to assemble, would be easier with two people during final assembly - but all in all no issues. Worked as advertised and I started hundreds of pepper and tomato plants last season. Once potted up, the plants outgrew the stand after about 6 weeks and they had to be moved to another area until transplanting outside was safe. This year I will probably only start half the amount of plants or stagger them by couple of weeks. The main reason for 4 stars is the price. 5 stars for function.

I purchased the light system to replace a homemade rack of the same capacity, and will use it primarily to grow seedlings for transplanting outdoors. It's an improvement over my old system because 1) it's rather attractive in a utilitarian way, 2) it's more efficient in use of space and electricity, and 3) it can easily be moved on its wheels for cleaning. I'm now using it to overwinter some plants that we don't have window space for. It's expensive, but worth the money for me. Assembly was challenging, but the instructions are good. Getting bolt holes to line up properly took some effort, as did the electrical plug-in connections.

Easy to move without risking damage to plants or equipment. As with everything from Gardeners Supply, the attention to detail results in quality. Looking forward to results!Assembly definitely better with two people and READ AHEAD to avoid having to redo steps.

It gets so cold here that my plants are doomed in the winter. All my suculants & outdoor plants I put under the lights are thriving! I've never been able to grow orchids until now! My 3 orchids are producing rows of flower buds! It's such a perfect design, the lights are adjustable and the tray the plants sit on catch any water spills. The trays can easily be taken out and washed, I haven't needed to do this because the spills wipe easily with a paper towel. I accidently touched the the lights, to my surprise, they were warm but didn't burn. I love ithis product so much I want another one!!

Some plants I almost gave up on but are coming back
I look forward to buying more of these!
I love this grow light shelf set up. I can fit a lot of my succulents in a much smaller space. It's very sturdy, and I appreciate that it rolls around, so I can rearrange things also. I saw it on Garden Answer Facebook, and had to try it!
Purchased for mother in law
from Cordova, TN
We help mother in law with plants in her backyard. She is elderly and cannot do a lot physically. We brought her plants (a lot of cacti) inside and use the SunLite. She loves it, along with her fairy garden.
Very sturdy and well made!

Took an hour for my husband and I to put together. Looks good and is sturdy. I'm so glad I didn't try to rig up something myself for my orchids this winter!

I use Lighted Shelving for my Greenhouse shelving; it serves the purpose great for starting seeds; combined with some seed starting heat mats. I use this in an old school bus; that I converted to a greenhouse. And I heat it with an electric fireplace that I have set to 55ºF to keep it from freezing in the green house. Plus the fake flames provide nice ambiance in the greenhouse.
So excited all my succulents have a new home - with plenty of room to add to my collection!
