This is the easiest-to-use edger we've seen. Simply "walk" it along your border; the blade and your foot power do the work, saving your back, shoulders and wrists. It has a comfortable foam grip, a window in the blade for perfect positioning, and a unique double-sided blade; flip it over and use the scraper to clean away debris.

About Me Avid Gardener
I have tried using the electric edgers, as well as the router round blade conventional style, and have had very poor results with both, so I saw this style and thought why not try it? I was pleasantly surprised it was such a simple design and easy to use once you get the hang of it. It does a very nice and clean edge, I didn't have to wrestle with it at all unlike the other two edgers, all my strong arming was used in my legs and my body weight. It cleans up nicely, just hose it of and let it dry.
So Easy to Use
This product was so incredibly easy to use, I was shocked. It gave my lawn perfect edges and all I had to do was step down on it. I was having so much fun with it and now our yard looks terrific!

So far, I've used the edger to cut sod for removal. Tidying the driveway is coming soon. As a smaller woman, I have to jump onto a spade to cut through sod, but the steppin' edger uses my weight more efficiently. Cutting a line is quick and easy! My soil is sandy/gravely, and the blade handles it well. I appreciate that the blade section folds and that there's a blade cover included for storage.
Just what I needed!

About Me Getting Started
The fancy electric or gas-powered edgers are too heavy for me, but this one is easy to carry and allows body weight to help cut through lawn roots, etc.
25 Year Old Steppin' Edger Still Going Strong!
from South Bend, IN
I've had a Steppin' Edger since probably the late 80's/early 90's. Just re-sharpened the blade with a grinder and it still works like new. Solid and not a speck of rust. Just walk along and move it about 6 inches at a time, then come along with a square edged spade to cut and lift the separated sod. Piece of cake. This is a GREAT product!
