Perfect hight

I put it together with no problem and put a cedar stain to protect it. It is really a great hight and looks beautiful outside my front door. It will be become my new herb garden, so when I'm in need of herbs when I am cooking, I just have to step outside.

Easy to use and convenient; purchased a second one

We just purchased our second standing garden. It's well designed and easy to use. It is very convenient too! We are in Mobile, AL, with clay and sand filled soil, so we were looking for a raised bed that could also be moved to shade in the heat of summer where it can get 110F and scorch plants. So far, this is working perfectly!

Poorly Designed Product

This was given to me as a gift. After about a year the wood planks have begun to split. The holes that support the water tray didn't line up properly; moreover, the aluminum strips that support the water tray are extraordinarily thin stock. The tray is NOT square; soil easily escapes out the corners, requiring a board of sorts to keep the soil from falling directly out at the corners. Casters are great as long as you have a flat, level surface - good luck moving this across a deck. For what this cost, I could have built one myself. Holes that didn't line up, wood that has split - really?

bought my second one

Have rheumatoid arthritis & gardening on the ground no longer an option. Love the waist height and the casters so I can move it on my deck to follow the sun. Wish they made a larger one that also was adapted fro casters.

Mom's garden find!

My Mom lives in a 1920's brownstone in the city with a private but small backyard. A few years ago she purchased this planter for baby lettuces, parsley, chives, rosemary and basil. I visit throughout the summer and the container looks fabulous. It still looks brand new and the plants have flourished. I have a deck off my kitchen and I'm getting one for herbs too. It is that nice - just beautiful!

This is my second standing it!

This was the perfect answer to have a salad garden in a small city space. We look forward to our harvest of tomatoes, peppers and herbs every year. When we moved a month ago, it was the first thing I ordered for the new house. Bad knees and bad back make traditional gardening difficult but the standing garden is great.

Good product

Decent quality. Seems pricey but don't see many items like this

Great way to outwit the rabbits

I bought this one as a birthday gift for my daughter.I have two of my own and love them. They have allowed me to enjoy lettuce, spinach, beets and carrots again after I had given them up as a loss to the critters

I should have paid attention to the bad reviews

OK, let's start with the fact that at this price I would expect it NOT to be so flimsy. Add to that the fact that the holes for attaching the metal strip that holds up the self watering tray were misaligned and I am going to have to go buy a metal drill bit to complete it. I am apprehensive that this will hold up anyway, so will probably add some metal supports and definitely will at least line the inside so the water and dirt don't leak out. With this much re-engineering I should have made one from scratch.

My daughter and son in law love their new garden!

They love how they can grow so many things in it! Everything from herbs to lettuces to root vegetables! A big plus is no bending!!
