The Squeezo Strainer quickly and easily separates seeds, peels, cores and stems with a simple turn of the handle, so you get the most juice and puree with the least amount of effort. Simply add tomatoes, berries, steamed apples or vegetables into the hopper, turn the handle, and the juice and puree pour down the chute, while the seeds and skins are discharged separately. The juice and puree are ready for eating, cooking, freezing or canning. The Squeezo Strainer is the original — and still the best — all-metal food mill. It's made in the USA from aluminum and stainless steel, with no plastic parts to stain or retain odors. The built-in clamp lets you attach it securely to a table or countertop up to 2-1/2" thick. Recipes and instructions are also included.
The Squeezo comes with a standard screen (1/16" holes) for making tomato sauce, applesauce and baby food, plus a wooden plunger and cleaning brush. The Deluxe Squeezo Strainer comes with three screens: a standard screen, a berry screen and a pumpkin screen. The berry screen has extra-fine mesh (1/64" holes) that removes all but the tiniest seeds, so it's perfect for making seedless raspberry and blackberry jams. The pumpkin screen has larger, 1/8" holes and is ideal for pumpkin and squash purees and potatoes, as well as coarser applesauce and salsa.

Comments about : Deluxe Squeezo® Strainer:
Had never used one of these before buying this one. Have now tried my new Squeezo for tomato juice and for autumn olive jam. It worked nicely for both, preferred using it on raw tomatoes versus cooked tomatoes for the tomato juice (which they recommended and I didn't believe them!). The raw tomatoes went through and separated with ease and the cooked ones made more of a mess. Squeezo separated slightly cooked autumn olive seeds from pulp better than any other methods used in the past and made a lovely tart jam. Am very happy with the berry attachment for that process--worth a quick "wow"! See attached photo. Now looking forward to trying applesauce in a couple of weeks and will definitely look forward to doing tomato juice next year! Have to add that it has a lot more parts and complexity so it takes more time and effort to clean it thoroughly. As a dishwasher is not recommended, it must be done by hand. You need little brushes to clean the screens adequately. But I think it is well worth the extra cleaning effort to get what I think is a higher quality product.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Processed a ton of tomatoes and this did a great job in so little time. Not a lot of waste either which I was concerned about. Love it!

I found the directions for setting this up somewhat difficult to follow. It is an amazingly sturdy product that I can see will last for decades. The options for grinding are a bit limited. I ran a number of tomatoes through it and, even with the strainer with the largest holes, what came out was more like tomato juice than sauce. Using two different types of tomatoes, I had to cook it down for quite a while to reduce the liquid. It would probably work well with berries.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Well worth the price

We have used this kitchen tool for 40 years and no device works better. Anybody can process large amounts of tomatoes, berries, squash, apples etc. It is most desirable to have all the screens so buy the complete set including all three screens. Ours works fine after 40 years and well worth the price if you want to produce large amounts of fruit or vegetables.

To preserve the harvest, this is for you
I had one if these when I lived in Switzerland and, as many people, had a surplus of tomatoes and lots and lots of wild berries that I wanted to preserve. I would easily process 100 lbs of tomatoes in about 45 minutes with nary a seed or piece of skin in the finished product. The berry screen is a must if you like to make berry sauces. We lived in an area that had acres of wild blackberries which I turned into a great topping for winter desserts. This machine will do pretty much anything you can think of with fruit and vegetables. An excellent investment.
