This shovel is ready to handle your toughest tasks with less effort from you. The heavy-duty, high-carbon manganese steel blade is tapered to cut through the most challenging soil, sod and roots, and the durable fiberglass handle has a comfortable grip. Narrow, pointed head lets you dig in beds without disturbing nearby plants, and a durable polymer coating minimizes friction and corrosion and helps prevent soil from sticking to blade.

Comments about : Spear Head Spade™:
Finally took it out of the box. Regular shovel was not cutting it to dig and divide iris. Oh my gosh why was it still in the box! It cut through the ground like butter. I love it!

I love this tool. I am expanding my gardening area because it is so easy to get out weed roots.
Can't wait to dig in!

I've been a perennial flower gardener for years but just got serious about vegetable gardening last summer. In looking back on my first season, I definitely saw there was a hole in my garden tool inventory. I'm confident this spade is going to fill that void splendidly!

Both my Handyman and myself have used this spade this past month. It's one of my better tools. Like it better since I had a hip replaced, it's easier to push the shuffle down in the dirt since I don't have to raise my foot so high.
A Sturdy Perennial Garden Friend
I've had it in the box for a couple months and forgot I had purchased it. I needed to remove some herbs and perennials in a tight fitting garden and remembered I had this in my garage. The slim blade made it very easy to get into those tight spots without damaging the neighboring plants. It cut into the soil very smoothly and easily. At first I didn't like the heaviness of it, but it turns out that the weight of the shovel made it easier to dig into the ground. It's a very sturdy and sold gardening tool. It's now been given a more stately spot hanging in the shed.
