I ordered more after one week
from San Jose Area
I got 3 for my front yard after reading all the reviews. I like that the stake is metal and screws together. it is important to put the ground stake in first and add to this. within a week I ordered 3 more for other side of garage walkway or in back yard. does not provide huge amount of light but enough to light area underneath so can be used on a path.

Elegant style but poor quality
from Riverside, RI
I was very excited about the looks of the product but it's poor quality soon became evident. As I was placing the stem into the body of one lamp it snapped off. Then I tried charging the lamp in the sun and the instructions said to turn it on. The on/off switch is a push in switch and we can not tell when it is off and when it is on. I've tried charging it during two full sunny days now (alternating the on/off switch setting by one push) with no results. I will be returning the two I bought.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

These are very low profile but provide great light. I started with two last year and bought two more. Be careful when pushing down into the ground (don't push from top, push from the stake itself), I broke one installing it. The first two were installed last summer and are still there through Hurricane Sandy and several big snow storms - they never faltered. Will buy more this year!

This product adds just the right amount of light where my driveway meets my garden path, subtly and safely directing foot traffic to my front door.
