A water feature lets you enjoy the sights and sounds of moving water and adds a finishing touch to your landscape — and this solar pump kit makes it easy to create your own. Use it to add a vertical spray or bubbler in a pond or water garden, or build your own container fountain, without
the headache of running extension cords. Kit includes the pump, a solar panel connected to the pump with a 14' cord (letting you place the pump in the shade), height extensions so you can place the fountain under water, a foam "island" so you can float the pump on the water surface, and three spray heads so you can create different spray patterns. Pump can be adjusted to spray water to three heights — 7", 15" and 19" — and can be hooked up to your own fountain head. The remote control can adjust pump to spray water to three heights — 7", 15" and 19"; turn the pump on and off; to adjust the spray pattern; or to set the timer so the fountain runs for 2 hours at the same time each day. We've tested many
solar-powered fountains and find this one to be the most effective and most versatile.

Comments about All-Purpose Solar Pump:
I wanted a small solar pump for a birdbath and this is perfect! Large solar panel, started immediately. Can turn it on from the bathroom window so my laid up son can turn it on while I sleep during my workweek. My boyfriend wants one!Easy to assemble.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Stopped working in weeks
from Brookfield, MA
I couldn't get this to work with the remote. I think the remote is the problem. It isn't needed and adds nothing. I used to have a solar fountain like this without a remote and it worked well for several years. This one I threw away (with the remote) within a month. Decided it was too much of a hassle to return. Look elsewhere to see if you can find one without a remote or don't bother.
Too small- my fault

I apparently didn't read the description close enough- the fountain only sprays 7-19 inches high. I don't know what I was thinking, but this is much too small for my purposes. Too bad!

Solar powered is very handy!

Love the solar power! This is great for places where an extension cord is impractical. When the weather does not permit, I just pluck it out of the water. No fuss at all. My backyard friends noticed it right away.

Love it so much I gave it as a gift

The new feature of a solar collector with battery back up means I can have the fountain on day or night. The remote means I have control from inside the house or on the patio.I have given these to daughters. They can be used in a small space

Only for close-up viewing

I purchased this product to use in a small fish pond on my front lawn. The spray is very weak, and it is impossible to see it from my front porch which is only about 25 feet away. I was very disappointed in my purchase.

All-Purpose Solar Pump
from in Delaware
The pump only worked one time it did not come on the same time the next day. Then I tried to let it charge up and then I started it up again and I cut it off then tried to restart it, but it would not come back on. It only works once then you have to disconnect it then let it set for a day then reconnect it for it to only work for 2 hours.

love the concept, but.....
from Lansdowne, PA
I am using the product in a small water feature, but it isn't strong enough to produce much flow through the small pot I ran the water line through. It doesn't create much sound as a result. Also, the fact that it turns itself off after two hours (I thought that was an option)isn't good to keep the water moving and mosquitos from laying eggs on the surface. I think I will probably use it somewhere else in the garden and hook up my old electric pumpin the water feature ,

Good for small water feature
from Chesapeake, VA
I tried a cheaper version but this one was the better performer. Still may go to the typical electrical because would prefer a longer period of water flow.
