I had purchased Couplers last year and they worked fine. I reordered Couplers last month and they are not the same product. The new couplers pop right off the 1/2 inch hose and leak like a sieve. Upon further notice, I can see they are not the same as the ones ordered last year. They do not grip into the hose like the old ones. I am very disappointed and strongly urge GSC to re-evaluate their supplier.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Handy to have on hand

Part of my drip system
Very useful as an add on to the full system. I have arthritis in my hands and usually have to get my husband to set up things like this but I was able to easily do this one on my own.
The system is so easy to use and works great. I've recomended it to others.....even while they were looking at sprinkler systems in a big box store

I needed to make a custom irrigation for some new trees that I plants and these fitting were the ticket.
Keep popping out
from New York City
Yet again the connector popped out of the hose this morning despite using force to secure them together. We have used pressure regulators and backed off the water, all to no avail. The connectors don't stay on and we spring leaks in the hose, so I'm unhappy with this product. I just want to get through the rest of the season and get a drip system installed in the spring. This sounded like a great low cost watering solution; however, it has not turned out that way.
I love the system
from Newton, MA
I really like the soaker irrigation system, it has made my life much easier. Quick to put together and didn't cost a fortune. However, I find that even with a pressure valve, my connections have a tendency to disconnect soaking the area. I'll put some of that on me put might suggest a stronger way to connect, maybe a longer insert part of the connect couplers?
Great for customizing drip system
from Alta Loma, CA
I line the snip and drip system and these additional couplers allow me to extend my system to fit just right.
