With sewn-in, galvanized steel hoops that make installation a breeze, this tunnel is an easy way to provide shade for new transplants and cool-season crops. Just position the tunnel over a row of vulnerable plants for nearly instant protection from intense sunlight. Polyethylene fabric provides 50% shade. Slide fabric up the hoops to tend and harvest. Hemmed edges with drawstring closures at ends. Reusable; folds flat for easy off-season storage.

Not sure I used it right. Plan on talking to customer service. May work only with already mature plants. Did not work with plants started from seed.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Although the shipping took longer than anticipated, I really found this useful for shading lettuce when our summer kicked in early with many days over 100. It was easy to set up and the irrigation to the area wasn't compromised which was nice. Very easy - just put it up and forget it.Only drawback for me was the length doesn't work well in garden boxes because everything it is going to cover has to be planted in one long single row.
Looks like it should work

I bought three of these over 10 yew\ars ago from Gardeners Supply. They are still in great shape and I use them all of the time. For some reason, Gardeners Supply stopped selling them. Glad to see that thay are available again.
Very Useful Purchase

I am using this product to protect my chard and roses from the harsh sun and high heat of the AZ summer. So far, I am very happy with the results and our temperatures have been in the 110s! My roses are not looking scorched and are even continuing to produce new growth. My chard is tender and still great to use in recipes. I am thrilled.
Awesome Product! I would buy this again!

Wonderful product! I plan to add more and more! They provided great protection for hardening off seedlings. So easy to use and withstood severe storm with straight line winds of a severe nature without budging!

Easy to set-up right out of the box. Holds up well in a wind storm (Texas. I wish they had a longer size, instead of having to buy several.I like the draw strings on both ends to allow you to open and close. The sewn-in hoops are well constructed.
