Your seeds have germinated nicely, your plants are doing great, and it's time to re-pot. Here's how to ensure that seedlings thrive at this crucial stage: transplant into these pots that water themselves! The system includes a 1/2-gallon reservoir tray, a capillary mat that wicks water up to plants and a transport tray for carrying pots.

Could be better made to last longer.
from Scranton PA
Nice product but I doubt it will last for too many seasons. Would be perfect if everything was a little thicker plastic. You'll have to be very careful if you want this to last past one or two uses.
I would buy this product again.

We started seeds in plugs and transferred to these pots and tray. It worked great for our tomato and pepper plants. I would buy this item again.

The plastic cups could be a little thicker, I broke one after one use.
Good product for the price point

The item is what it is. Works well as a transplant unit. Seems a bit sturdier than the 12 count 4 inch pot unit of which I have 2.

This really didn't work. I put water in the reservoir and saturated the mat but the pots did not all get watered. I would up watering them manually. Also, it is difficult to refill the water reservoir once the pots are in place. There is no opening. The 3 inch size is too small for tomatoes. I should have tried the 4 inch size. But the product is so flimsy, I will not order another one.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

The tray fits perfectly under a 4-bulb grow light. Works well for transitioning from small-cell seed starter pots to the garden
MAKES LIFE SO MUCH EASIER

I've used these for the past three years. I use these to keep my seedlings going until it's time to plant them outdoors. I like the holding tray and the water reservoir. Since I turn my guest room into a nursey in late winter, I appreciate that everything is self-contained and cleaner. It's also so much easier to take the trays out and bring them back during the hardening process. I wish the tray holding the pots in place was made of sturdier plastic, though, as they can break easily.
A bit flimsy

LIKED IT SO MUCH THAT I BOUGHT MORE!
By DODU GIRL

I used this for the first time last winter. I start seeds in peat pellets and then once the seedlings have several leaves and lots of roots, I bury the pellets into potting soil in these transplant pots. The reservoir and capillary mat really take the guess work out of watering, and the tray makes it easy to carry the plants in and out for hardening them off prior to planting in the ground.
