Seed Tapes are the easiest, no-waste way to plant. Each strip of biodegradable paper is embedded with perfectly spaced seeds; simply unroll into a planting furrow and cover. Planting is precise, there's little or no thinning needed, and the germination rate is outstanding. Seed tapes are also ideal for mid-season succession planting between rows. Each seed tape is 15' long.

Planting in Spring
from Cazenovia, NY
Comments about : Seed Tape:
I gave this a five-star rating for quick delivery and in anticipation of ease of planting. However due to our zone 4 planting season, I don't plan on using the tape until spring. Wish me luck.

Great for Compact Gardens
By Aztek Princess

I ordered spinach and chard seed tapes mid-summer for my fall garden. They are certainly easy to plant, and I ordered more when they went on sale for my garden next spring. However, I am disappointed with the germination and the spacing of the plants. Because a lot of the seeds don't sprout, there are big gaps. I thought maybe my small numbers of plants were due to the rabbits, so I tried a chard seed strip in a large pot that the rabbits don't know about. Same result: A few puny plants that are not doing very well. Maybe this is the wrong time of year. I'll keep trying.
Seed Tape a breeze

Seed Tape was so easy to use this last spring and I had great crops from them. So I ordered some more for the next planting.
Seed Tape Works Well

I planted four different seed tapes in two raised bed gardens this month and all of the plants are up. I plan to plant the remaining tapes in another bed soon. Waiting to see if the veggies produce.
Putting seeds in paper tape is brilliant. I hope you will put several more varieties of seeds in these seed strips next year. At this time, I can address only ease of use, which was a breeze. My chard is up and recognizable but the spinach is taking longer. I'm confident they will be wonderful because you've always sent me quality products.

I will not be buying seeds this way again.
from Western Colorado
I ended up replanting my seed tapes three times with minimal results. Bought them with the idea of being properly spaced, but had extremely poor results in getting them to germinate. Don't plan on trying these again, as too costly for plants not being produced. Was definitely a waste of money.

The seed tape is of good quality. The package says the seeds take 7-10 days to germinate, and I had the beets come up in 5 days!
great service, fast delivery, great product, will use GSC again. :)
