You asked, we listened — we made our Rosy Cozy taller and wider. It’s the best way to protect tender roses from extreme cold and temperature fluctuations. Simply place the wire cage over a pruned-back plant and add insulating material, such as bark mulch. Slip on the white tarpaulin cover and place bricks or stones in the stirrups to anchor it. You have reliable — and reusable — rose protection that is so much better than those one-season foam rose cones that blow away, crumble and suffocate plants. Install the Rosy Cozy after the first hard frost.
We designed the Rosy Cozy as an effective solution to the problems posed by styrofoam rose cones:
The reflective white cover prevents heat build-up, and the mesh top allows heat and moisture to escape, reducing the chance of the plant breaking dormancy too early. (Styrofoam rose cones hold in too much heat and moisture.)
Two stirrups at the Rosy Cozy's base let you anchor it with bricks or rocks, securing it in place. (Styrofoam rose cones blow away in a strong breeze.)
The Rosy Cozy's durable steel frame and heavy-duty vinyl cover will protect rose canes from breaking under heavy snow, and it will last for many years of use. (Styrofoam rose cones are brittle and disintegrate after one season.)

Saving my Roses
from Spokane, Washington
Comments about : Rosy Cozy® Rose Cone, Large:
We love the 2 Rose Cones we purchased. Easily slipped right over my long stem yellow roses, now they are warm and comfy. Most of all, we live in an extremely cold and winter weather area in Eastern Washington, for example at 7 am this morning the temperature was 11 degrees and it's not uncommon for winds between 30-40 miles an hour. I put these on and wondered if they could withstand our wind and cold. This is an excellent product and we proudly recommend these. Great product, vale and price.

I purchased this product to cover my rose bushes for the winter. I am very impressed with the quality and ease of use of this product.

Very well made and very substantial.
This product is well made but certainly not for use with a hybrid tea rose. It was nearly impossible to place over the taller or sideways growing branches. I really needed a cone twice the size. I hope my plant survives the winter.

I have purchased 8 of these for my roses and plan on getting a couple more. They are well made and do the job. My only complaint is I wish there some extra larger ones available. Also I would like to see them a little wider for branches that tend to grow sideways.

I live where winters are cold and some of my roses are very large. This cozies are easy to use, cover great, and protected my roses even in extremely deep snow.
Will buy several if rose makes it through winter
from Bellvue CO
I bought this cone to protect my Marilyn Monrose rose bush for overwintering in Colorado at 7000 feet. The developer of the rose did not think it will make it but after receiving this in the mail I think we have a good chance. Product is well made, sturdy and plenty big to cover and protect a rose.
