Reminiscent of a weathered lantern, this barn red birdfeeder holds a generous 6 cups of any type of seed. The domed top and drainage holes in the
base keep seed dry, and a glass window lets you monitor the seed supply. Top twists open for easy filling; built-in hanging loop.

Poor Quality Finish
from Libby, MT
Purchased at Christmas as a gift and hung outside in mid January. Despite a warmer than normal winter with less snow than usual, the finish has already started to flake off.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Disappointed in this one
from Brookline, Vt
As expected, a squirrel also liked it. After multiple leaps he was able to turn the body of the feeder and release it from the suspended lid My design complaint was the twist lock of the main feeder to the suspended lid. When he and the feeder landed, the glass inside the feeder understandably broke but the welds holding 3 of the 4 tabs securing the tray to the tube broke as well. Not much quality there for a 7 foot drop onto snow below.Kind of expensive for a less than a week of enjoying the birds

The lid should slide easily onto the top of the feeder, however, the brackets were pinched and narrow, which required a tool to expand the opening so the lid could be attached. As a result, several attempts to put the top on the birdfeeder stripped the paint around the inside edge. The paint loss won't be noticed, however, it's disappointing to pay for a brand new product that isn't user friendly without customer adjustments to make it functional.

This was a Mother's Day gift which was opened with a huge smile. It is beautiful, very well-constructed, & the bird's love it already. I will have one in my yard soon :-)

Just right for my patio
By Nola backyard birdwatching

Perfect size for my backyard and love the red color of this bird feeder. The metal is light weight and I hope - durable over time and weather conditions. The dome top is a little difficult to twist closed but is really easy to keep clean.

A hit with the birds and me
from Homosassa, FL
I hung this in my back yard in addition to the one feeder I have, which couldn't accommodate all the birds I get. It holds plenty of seed so I don't have to fill it frequently. The birds not only feed from it, but often perch on the top for awhile so I'm able to get a good look at them.
Paint comes off
I cleaned this with a damp cloth and the paint came off. This is toxic to birds.
Very good product

This is a good product, very sturdy. Very happy with it.
red domed bird feeder
After adding seed to this feeder it is almost impossible to get the lid on. The design for the top is very bad. Would not recommend. Have lost feed on the ground because the top could not be secured.

We love the appearance.
