Birds need access to water in winter as much as in summer. In addition to drinking, birds use water for their frequent grooming, otherwise, their feathers can’t insulate against winter’s cold. This plug-in steel birdbath has an efficient, 75-watt heater with a thermostatic control that heats only when necessary and keeps water from freezing at temperatures as low as -10°F. Insulated plastic bowl holds 2 quarts.

We have had one of these bed baths before and enjoyed see wing the bids use it during the winter months. Our old one gave out so purchased another one. The birds have not found it yet, but when they do we will enjoy seeing them.
I would buy again.

Simple design, easy to assemble

The blue birds are hanging around all winter
Keep the bath level
from Durango, Colorado
I was able to keep the bath level by drilling a hole in the top of the bracket and screwing the bracket to the railing. Also a wider washer on the bracket would help keep the bath level without the screw.

Watching the winter birds bathe daily is relaxing and best of all helping birds to a safe and clean environment. Wonderful, natural zen experience!

About Me Budget Shopper
I love this product and have two attached to my deck. However, I have tried unsuccessfully to get them both to lie straight-they lean forward making the water retention uneven. Any advice would be appreciated!
