This is the quickest, easiest system you'll find for defining an edge between your lawn and flower beds or garden. Simply pound each interlocking piece into the ground with a rubber mallet; in most soils there's no need for cutting, trenching or tearing up sod. To turn a corner, just bend the sections to form the angle you need.

Very easy to install if the soil is moist. Hard soil needs to be moistened a couple hours before attempting to install.

Pound in edging
The edging was great. Went in very easily. Will buy more in the spring.
Great little edging product
By Planet Janet

I copied my neighbor who had the same product. I wanted to add edging to help keep my pecan-shell mulch from traveling onto the sidewalk and walkways. This edging was kind of fun to pound in. Look for the instructions that tell you which direction to go when you link the pieces together. I did it backwards, and I'm sure it made it more difficult to pound it in and have it stay put. One caveat: I see that my neighbor added some ground stakes to keep the edging in place, so I plan to do the same. Probably this is needed on the edge that borders the sidewalk, as people may have displaced the edging by walking on it.
I absolutely love this product!

I edged several areas quickly and easily! Plan on ordering more this week!
Easy Installation and good looks
from Kensington, Md.
We have re landscaped to eliminate any grass in the front yard. We created a berm which has a variety of lovely plantings, but the mulch was washing down onto the sidewalk. Just by pounding in the edging, we have eliminated the problem, without ruining the looks of the design. The edging blends in and seems to disappear.
i have bought many feet of this edging in several heights. Keeps the grass from the flower beds and helps conserve water in several vegetable areas where I use it for small scale terracing. Looks good and lasts, although expensive.

I first put a border around foundation beds in the front yard, it made an immediate definitive statement! So I bought more and created a bedding area along the back fence where grass would not grow due to a Live Oak. Problem solved, so clean and nice! Easy to install.

Good for edging, but need soft soil ....
from inland northwest, U.S.A.
I've been using the 8" edging for the last few years. I also have the mallets. It works great if the ground is soft. Then it pounds in easily, to the level I want it to. Sometimes I have to work the soil up to the proper depth to get it soft enough so the edging pieces don't bend when I pound them in. In some areas of my garden, this can be frustrating. These will heave with frost. They don't come completely out of the ground, but they do raise up, and have to be repositioned after the ground thaws. This creates extra work in the Spring, but I consider it part of garden maintenance. All in all, it's an okay product. Not the greatest, but not bad, either.
Very easy to use. It's time consuming
