I have bought this product again.

Comments about : 8" Pound-In Edging:

I use this edging to keep the zoysia grass out of the flower beds. It is the only edging that so far is able to keep that grass mostly at bay. It is not quite as easy to install the 8" depth as I had believed it would be.

Comments about : 8" Pound-In Edging:

Overall a good product. I love/hate that it is sold in small pieces. It is good because it allows for curves and awkward angles, bad because making a perfectly straight line for any distance is very difficult.

Very easy to install if the soil is moist. Hard soil needs to be moistened a couple hours before attempting to install.

      Best Uses

      • Edging for landscape

      Comments about : 8" Pound-In Edging:

I copied my neighbor who had the same product. I wanted to add edging to help keep my pecan-shell mulch from traveling onto the sidewalk and walkways. This edging was kind of fun to pound in. Look for the instructions that tell you which direction to go when you link the pieces together. I did it backwards, and I'm sure it made it more difficult to pound it in and have it stay put. One caveat: I see that my neighbor added some ground stakes to keep the edging in place, so I plan to do the same. Probably this is needed on the edge that borders the sidewalk, as people may have displaced the edging by walking on it.

        Cons

          Best Uses

          • On slopes or curves

          Comments about : 8" Pound-In Edging:

We have re landscaped to eliminate any grass in the front yard. We created a berm which has a variety of lovely plantings, but the mulch was washing down onto the sidewalk. Just by pounding in the edging, we have eliminated the problem, without ruining the looks of the design. The edging blends in and seems to disappear.
