We tested a number of different agricultural fabrics for our Potato Grow Bags before finding this winner, which produced a satisfying 13-pound harvest. The porous
fabric prevents heat build-up and allows excess water to drain away. Its compact, 18" diameter size lets you grow your own potatoes just about anywhere.

Comments about Potato Success Kit:
I loved the first one so much, I bought a second one. It is very hot and dry here and this needed to be watered very often. Although it neither one produced a lot of potatoes, there was enough to for a couple of meals. I would recommend this as a wonderful project for children of all ages.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I haven't tried to grow potatoes is about 40 years, so I thought this would be a good way to get started again. It is easy to do, and so far, the plants are growing. However, there is some confusion as the directions with the potato grow bag, and the directions with the organic seed potatoes don't jive. This is as far as spacing, mostly. Also there are more seed potatoes than can fit in one potato grow bag - even if you plant too many in the bag. I put in 5 seed potatoes in the bag, and I think that was too many. But I still have about 5 seed potatoes left. We'll see if I get potatoes. Then I'll be happy.
I think I'm going to like it

Potatoes are coming up and it's almost time to add more soil. I think the grow bags are going to work out well. They drain well and I like the fact that I can pick up the bags and move them. I have a good feeling that my Potato Success kits will be a success.
Totally Worth It!

The directions were easy to follow regarding how much dirt, how to plant the potatoes, etc. I have it on my deck. It's easy to drag it wherever I want it. My potatoes are growing VERY well!

About Me Getting Started
I followed the slide show and instructions. These plants grow very fast,so don't be surprised if one week they are small and then grow tall quite fast. Soil bags in the kit are light weight. My plants are 8" tall and time to add more soil. -Can't wait for those potatoes/
A successful way to grow potatoes

I followed the slide show directions from Gardener's Supply and planted my potatoes. The bag gets heavy so I placed it on a wheeled plant stand and it allows me to move it for best sunlight and also the shade. I love all the colors of the bags although the success kit comes in black. My potatoes are just starting to break ground so I am already feeling successful!

Used to grow potaotes for the first time! They are sprouting and look great! Can't wait to see them when I harvest. The bag was was easy to set up and use. I live in Oklahoma where we get some heavy spring rain. The bag drained and potatoes are doing great!
A big success last year!

I ordered one of these kits several years ago because my grandson wanted to have a garden although he lives in an apartment. It worked like a dream and I'm replacing it only because I've heard that potatoes need to be rotated every two to three years. This year three grandchildren participated and had a fine time. Now we ware waiting for the potatoes.
Well constructed , easy to use.

We did straw bale potato plants last year, which was a bit messy at the end of the season. Potato bags get rid of the mess and if the deer find the tender shoots we will easily be able to relocate the plants. Looking forward to a bumper crop!!
Even I can do it!

I am growing potatoes for the first time and used your starter kit. The system is easy to use and all of the materials are very light weight. Very EZ for "mature"gardeners to handle!
