Nuthatches, chickadees, woodpeckers, titmice, blue jays and many other birds love nutritious, protein-rich peanuts, and this ingenious wire spiral
wreath is a simple and effective way to offer them. Birds perch on the spiral loops and pull out individual peanuts to feed. Peanuts are a high-calorie,
high-energy that food helps birds survive cold winter temperatures.

Hoping to deter the squirrels with their own feeder!
Not worth the bother

My brother gave this to me bc the birds in his yard couldn't figure out how to use it. Well, our squirrels figured it out in les than a minute. It takes longer to fill than it takes the squirrels to empty. I think that it's best use is as garden art.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Great for birds, watchers & squirrels!
from Pittsburgh, PA
We enjoy feeding birds because our toddler daughter loves them (and can name many by sight). We thought adding peanuts would bring blue jays, a favorite. It does bring them, and squirrels too. So we've begun trying to find the perfect place to hang it to reach jays but not squirrels. We'll see. For now our daughter just chases away the squirrels.Feeder works exactly as expected, though it's very funny to get used to filling a slinky on a ring.
No Peanut Shells on the Ground
from La Grande, OR
This product allows a person to put a large number of peanuts for the squirrels or birds, without the mess usually associated with them. Birds and squirrels love it.
Excellent Nut Wreath for Birds

One for our MACAW; the other for the wild birds. We weren't sure about the Macaw, but he LOVES it and frequently hangs from it to get his favorite nuts - walnuts or pecans - so it holds up to three pounds of bird! It took him only a few seconds to discover the secret of pulling the nuts out. The wild birds took longer, but have enjoyed it equally. We are thinking of more for back-up!
Great to make the critters work for it.

We have all kinds of critters coming to get a peanut out of this feeder. It's fun to watch!

Economical squirrel feeder.
Squirrels love it
By Squirrrel Nut
The Squirrel feeder holds a good amount of peanuts its easy to fill and attractive. It also keeps the empty shells in one place. The squirrels seem to think of it as a game and we are going through twice as many peanuts weekly
