Not only is garlic a delicious culinary staple, it also has many health benefits. This low-effort, organic collection is perfect for the small garden and features two very different kinds of garlic. 'Lorz Italian' is an easy-to-grow, easy-to-store "softneck" type of garlic known for its mild flavor and enjoyed by those who eat garlic raw. 'Chesnok Red' Rocambole, a "hardneck" variety, is favored by chefs for its deep, full-bodied flavor and easy-to-peel skin.

About Me Getting Started
Comments about Organic Garlic Collection:
First time buyer and just planted this fall (2010) for next year so cannot advise on their ability to grow....HOWEVER...I ordered too many, so we did what one naturally does with garlic...ate the leftovers! This is some of the best garlic I've ever eaten! I cannot wait to harvest it next summer. Buy it to eat it! I'm not kidding.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

This is the second time I have ordered garlic from Gardeners Supply. First was three years ago...Time for some "fresh" product. I have been very pleased with the harvest!

This is an amazing garlic package. Each clove sprouted and came up in the spring, producing large bulbs. Upon harvesting and drying we began using both types right away raw, cooked and in canning dill pickles. Our neighbors, who were also making pickles asked us where we got such beautiful garlic! We felt we should share some, but not too much!
Well packaged and a good deal!

Item arrived in great, healthy condition and with instructions on how to plant (though its tough to not plant bulbs correctly). Can't wait for the spring to see the results! The review is only four stars b/c I haven't harvested the garlic yet but I'll change it next spring (2011).
It was a winner!

I plant both varieties to have fresh garlic year round. They store well when braided and grow beautifully. I love the snips of green on soft necks for a mild onion flavor. Resilient and drought tolerant! Stand up well in wind with stiff neck variety.

I have ordered your Garlic for a number of years and have been generally satisfied. Your products [...] have always been great. This year's shipment had discoloration and appeared to be dried out
