If your plants are looking sickly and stunted, but no pests are evident, poor nutrition may be to blame. This NPK Soil Test Kit tells you exactly which fertilizer you need nitrogen, phosphorus or potassium.

I've had my soil tested through my local extension office, but wanted to do some follow-up, especially on my N-P-K. This test kit will do the trick!

I used this to test my garden soil. My tomatoes weren't doing too well and I wanted to see what was missing in my soil. Found out there was not enough nitrogen

Showed depleted nitro & phos.

Tested soil in raised bed which indicated depleted nitrogen and phosphorous. I added granulated food. Snap peas are starting to sprout! Still waiting for lettuce to sprout after planting last week.

No P....Who knew?!
By Urban Farmer
from Bethlehem, PA
So I order 18 tons of organic topsoil to fill my new (and huge) garden of raised beds, and I figure I'd better not take the seller's word for it. I should know for myself what I'm feeding my plants. Got the test kit. Did all the tests. Lo and behold, my 18 tons of glorious dirt has barely a trace of phosphates. Needed to be acidified, too. While I'm not impressed with my expensive dirt, I love the test kit!

[...]. Most of the instructions are vague and assume knowledge of how much soil to add to test the soil. Most instructions are not in English.
