Exclusive | Multipurpose Garden Hod: Harvest & Rinse or Stack & Store

  • Hose off fresh-picked vegetables outdoors — no more muddy mess in the kitchen sink!
  • Stackable, space-saving and stylish storage, indoors and out
  • Carry, organize and store — in every season, for every reason!
Meet the Mod Hod!

Ways We Love Our Mod Hod!

The name says it all! Our exclusive Mod Hod is a modern take on the traditional harvesting hod. Gather and rinse vegetables outdoors — the smooth, perforated interior won't bruise prized produce. The fold-out legs keep your harvest off the ground, allowing it to drip-dry before bringing indoors. Washing vegetables fresh from the garden outdoors keeps the kitchen clean and the chef happy!

Stack up to three hods for fast, fun, space-saving storage in kitchen, pantry, mudroom, shed — anywhere, indoors or out. Store fruits and vegetables, corral toys, stow hats and mittens. You'll find dozens of other uses, too! Bring it to the farmer's market, carry supplies to the garden, tidy up the garage.

Long-lasting, easy-care polypropylene; just rinse after use and it's ready to go. When our staff got an early peek at the Mod Hod, it got a roomful of oohs and aahs!

Nifty multi-taskers

By Loropetalum

from Chico, CA

Verified Buyer

Pros

  • attractive
  • light, but sturdy
  • portable and stackable

Cons

    Best Uses

Trust the French to come up with a chic basket that can act as a harvest basket (washable, drains), a tote for the market, a part of stackable "shelves" for items ready to leave the house, an encouragement for kids to pick up toys and put them out of sight ... the list is endless. They are attractive, well-made and light. I love them.

      Cons

        Best Uses

Great use to harvest, rinse, and carry lots of parsnips and carrots from the garden to the house. The kids discovered they are great too. Baskets are easily stackable for toy bins and playing with. My children also line up 3 in a row and play train. They are very sturdy as my 3 and 5-year old sit in them as the train conductor. Great use in many aspects and also easy to store as they nest together.

          Pros

          • Large, light, useful, clever handles & legs

          Cons

          • Wish color was prettier.

          Best Uses

          • Harvesting and rinsing in the garden

I got the large size. It is large, but very light. I'm going to get the 2 smaller sizes for smaller harvestings. Well thought out, useful product. The legs that fold and hold the basket off the ground are going to be especially useul for hosing veggies right in the garden!

          Pros

          • lightweight , durable, better than a bucket

          Cons

            Best Uses

            • gathering crop

Love to stack these in my pantry for potatoes .....I also loved using these to gather turnips, collards, kale and radishes from my garden this fall . They are so lightweight but are also so durable. I love the fact that these sit off the ground when I gather my vegetables. With all the rain this year , I do not carry in a muddy container.

            Best vegetable tote out there

            By Lori

We use it to collect vegetables in the garden, and like the legs to prop the basket. We wash the vegetables in the garden or utility sink, and the legs help them to drain, and not sit in the dirt.
