Hands and feet stay warmer when socks and gloves are dry. Our powder-coated steel mitten tree is an energy-free way to dry wet outerwear, especially woolens that can't take the heat of a clothes dryer.

It looks fabulous and no more soggy mittens. I only wish it could fetch them from my kiddos backpacks!

just what we needed!
from Sharon, MA
We just put a wood burning fireplace insert in our home and with 2 young boys this mitten tree is just what we need to dry out mittens and hats. There was a little wobble in it once I fully assembled it, seems like there was a little extra space along the main post, but I solved this by wrapping the bottom of the pole tightly with electrical tape before sliding on the arms and spacers then tightening down the top until it was snug. I had to add a little more once we started using it, but it was an easy fix. This mitten tree works great and looks great on my hearth.
As expected. Arrived quickly. While simple to install, could have used instructions.
a waste of money
i had a mitten tree from you in the past that was of the upmost quallity. it was a one peice unit ofcast iron that we hung over the wood stove to dry all of our hats and gloves. the one we just got from you is junk... i broke one of the arms taking it out of the box.it is a multi piece unit that is cheep and not worth the money i spent
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

arrived broken. More flimsey than I would have hoped.
Good design, weak execution
By Manic Mom
Easy enough to assemble, but one of the pieces had to be cut down 1/2" with a hacksaw so it fit together. Welding of arms is weak, my eight-year old has already knocked one of them off. It will have to be welded back in place. Great capacity.
Essential - Terrific - Mitten Tree!!!

Hi there! We LOVE this mitten tree. ~We bought one for us and one for family out in snowy Utah. It is SO GREAT! It's very easy to put together, very good quality and sturdy. We put it near our wood stove and it fits all our mittens, hats and do-dads to dry them in a snap. (We're a family of 5.) I am so sure it'll be an essential part of our winter from now on (we're in Washington with a lot of wet & snowy weather). Note: We did look at others that were less expensive and I am so glad we didn't compromise on the quality. I am sure it was worth every penny and we'll have it forever.
Energy-saving way to dry mittens

I had been looking for a way to dry snow-soaked gloves/mittens/hats that didn't involve using the dryer. By placing the rack by our gas fireplace I can easily dry these small items and don't have to drag them downstairs, dripping all the way.

I have used the mitten tree for three years. I keep it near the wood stove. It looks great, and works perfectly to dry mittens, hats and running clothes. It is well built and worth the price.
