This stately rain barrel looks like handcrafted wood but it's made from high-grade polyethylene so there's no need for painting or staining. Install it under any downspout; it holds 40 gallons and includes a 4' garden hose with shut-off valve so you can easily fill a watering can. The top basin can hold colorful flowering plants or store watering accessories. Includes 3' overflow hose. Coordinates with the Fairfield Windowbox, Patio Planter and Square Planter. Choice of classic Black or White.

About Me Getting Started
Comments about : Madison Rain Barrel:
Bought two of these rain barrels to set up a drip irrigation system to water my gardens. They work great! Upon reading some of the reviews, I elevated my barrels 6 inches so that gravity can do its work. I connected flexible tubing to the hose so now my plants are happily getting watered right at the roots.

Attractive alternative to standard barre

Very nice-looking rain barrel. I also appreciate it's relatively shallow profile - otherwise it wouldn't fit in its current location in our driveway. One minor annoyance is that the shape overflow spout (its smooth and tapers slightly) makes it impossible to clamp the overflow hose in place - it just slides off. Not a big deal for us, but not a great design, either.

We're always on water restriction so rain barrels keep my garden beautiful.

Fits the bill a great product
I'm using this rain barrel at the end of a rain chain. It looks great with the flowers in it.

Very hard to get a coupler not to leak when connecting to the rain barrel. After all that work, we can't get ours to empty from the hose at all. So far, it is a giant plant stand.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Just as expected.

Most rain barrels I looked at were not an attractive addition to my yard. This is the exception. Attractive design with option to use the top as a planter. No issue with set up and easy to use.

This rainbarrel was easy to install;however, the hose that is in the back is so low to the ground that when you hold it up to turn it on it kinks and doesn't allow the water to flow. Otherwise, it looks very nice and is a good value.

Met my expectations, time will tell.
Used the rain barrel to divert water flooding an area during a heavy rain. Unfortunately we are in a drout so no rain in the rain barrel.
