Don't just blow leaves around! Using a leaf blower is fine for clearing a small area, but it's no way to clean a whole yard. The Leafmaster is a powerful electric tool which vacuums up leaves, shreds them into mulch, and collects them for composting or disposal.

Comments about : Leafmaster 3-in-1 Blower, Vac, Shredder:
I didn't realize how much power this blower had until two of us blew out a neighbor's yard. Job was three times faster with this blower. It put the other blower to shame. Last year I mulched my leaves and my neighbor's leaves. The blower did a great job. However, it vibrates too much for my body to handle(65). Resolved my mulching problem with a standalone leaf shredder, also from this company. Love this blower.

Powerful blower and vacuum! Components are easy to use and snap into place easily. Relatively light-weight and easy to manage for its size. The Leafmaster has definitely met my expectations.

Too slow, too heavy
from New Jersey
The idea is great, and the unit is well built, but it is too heavy an not comfortable to use by a 5'4" woman. My arms and shoulders quickly got fatigued holding it. It also took forever to vacuum a small patch of the grass, and lots of leaves got left behind, so I quickly realized that this unit is simply not going to work for my large garden and yard. Also the instructions said not to vacuum acorns. Since many trees here are oaks, there are a lot of acorns laying around mixed with the leaves, so I am not sure how am I supposed to vacuum the leaves but not acorns! The plug got unplugged for me about 5 times in the first 15 minutes of work. The quality shredding is good, not as fine as I would like it to be but it totally works for the mulch.Bottom line: This device is not for me. It might work for someone with a tiny yard and for those patient people who don't mind doing this for hours while dragging this heavy thing around. I'll have to either return it, or it has to be re-sold.

An efficient, useful product
from Bayfield, WI
Very useful and efficient. Much more efficient than raking, bagging and grinding up, especially if one knows how to manage a long cord (just use a large garbage can and leave the plug-in end of the cord dangling out for +/- 10 ft, then quickly put the rest of the cord into the can or barrel hand over hand.) Plug in the Leafmaster--and the cord will pull out for well over 100 ft. without tangling. The only CON is the quality and design of the sewing of the bag. The zipper gets caught in the thread ends and the zipper backing. Terribly frustrating. Could be better designed to be more functional. The sewing around the bag's pick-up insert also comes undone easily. I have had to re-sew it already! If this design flaw were corrected, the Leafmaster would be an almost perfect leaf collection and grinder mechanism. It is good for making a compost pile for mulching gardens, trees, and flower beds. An efficient tool of recycling and making good use of a natural resource.

Great Vacuum, Lousy Bag
from Raleigh, North Carolina
Use the vacuum feature annually to clean out shrub beds of leaves/debris. This vacuum does a great job of shredding leaves and sucking up gum balls. Unfortunately, the bag disintegrates, ripping open at the sewn seam on the bottom after very limited use. This is due to exceptionally poor design. What a shame Toro ruined a good leaf vacuum with such a shoddy bag to capture the debris.

Powerful Leaf Blower, but
from Chestertown, MD
The tool is good for getting leaves up off the ground without a lot of effort. However, if you intend to use the chewed up leaves for mulch, look elsewhere. The leaves don't get shredded enough the first time through for mulch.
Shiny Red Toy? Effective & Easy To Use!
By The Lorax
from NYC suburbs
I was a little skeptical about this product when I ordered it, but the online reviews were very good in general. After using the TORO extensively this fall, I have to agree with everyone else - used in it's vacuum mode, this is now my *favorite* leaf management tool. The shredded leaf mulch is very fine and great for use on landscape beds. The vacuum suction is strong enough to take care of large wet piles of Sycamore leaves without jamming. (Well, it jammed only once due to a large twig... but this was easy to "clear"). The only negative I can report is that it is a little awkward to figure out the best way to carry unit over the shoulder with the vac sack attached.

I love how it multitasks
from Airmont, NY
My husband was wary of getting an electric blower, but he really enjoyed using this model around our yard, where there are a TON of leaves! I just wish it would stay more solidly plugged into an outlet...other than that, it's great!

All I expected!!!
By Bill the leaf sweeper
from Stillwater, NY
Only lack is a grip under the main body of the motor. I found myself holding it there with no real place to hold on.

Easy set up and use
from Richmond, VA
Like the zipper on the bag - easy to unload. It is heavy and hard to hold for shorter people.
