Comments about Lawn Aerator Sandals:
The spikes bent and the shoes are too low. I actually I did the flat part of my garden with the machine and got this shoes for the sloped part. unfortunately the spikes bent and the shoes is hard to keep them on. I am checking for spikes replacement but I cannot find them. If the shoes were like a boot probably they could become much better. I don't recommend these for a sloped terrain

Lawn Aerator Sandals
from Milwaukee, WI
About Me Avid Gardener
I am aerating my own lawn this year. I paid to have it done last year with very poor results. The first time did not take and second time, they came on the windiest day of the season. Decided to handle my self.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

About Me Getting Started
They work great, they are very sharp and you have to tie them really tight or they come off.

About Me Master Gardener
Perhaps a good idea, but certainly not for women's feet. Made for a man's foot with straps that have pull-tight fastners rather than buckles that will not stay tight so the sandals come off. Also the whole deal has to be assembled, straps and individual spikes.
This is not aeration.

This product does not aerate your lawn...it merely moves the soil around. Pulling cores is the only way that you will truly benefit your lawn.

The straps really don't fit on well and don't hold your feet on properly. The actual aerator feature works very well if you can get your shoes stabilized and strapped properly.

Worked as advertised

Spikes did puncture the soil but holes were small and seemed inadequate

Product itself us a great idea.. Just needs stronger straps that sty tight when you put them on. Shoes fall off every two steps thus needing to be retightened. But if you try to tighten them too much the plastic buckles bends out of shape permanently. I removed them and used regular shoe laces.( skate or boot are better since they're a bit wider). Now it works fine. Just don't use them in really wet situations or you'll be in for one heck of a work out. Cheers
