Popular in the Victorian era, glass bell cloches were used to create mini-greenhouses that let light in to warm the soil in spring and protect plants from harsh weather and pests. Ours provide the same benefits, but are made from clear, long-lasting PVC with vents on top to prevent overheating on a sunny day. Set of three includes steel stakes to secure them to the ground.

It works for me!
By Peanut Patti

Comments about : Large Garden Cloches, Set of 3:
I needed protection for my potted succulents if the temperature drops to 32 or below. These domes fit right over my succulents in the pots and will give them the protection they need. Most of the time that's all the low temperatures we need to worry about here in East Texas. It can get colder and if it does I plan to use a layer of bubble wrap around the Dome. Definitely worth a try as I can't move my succulents and pots into the house and some are too heavy to put in the greenhouse.

Great for protecting plants
By Northwest gardener

Very glad I bought these. I'm using them to protect some of my snap peas and the seedlings that are under these are doing better than the ones that aren't. If I needed more in the future I wouldn't hesitate to buy more. I do wish that the plastic was slightly thicker, because if you squeeze it, it dents. It easily pops back into place, but it's just something you have to be conscious of.

These cloches are for my larger growing veggies.
I'd buy this product again.

I've been using these at night to protect my smaller vegetable plants to keep the varmints from eating them.
Trying them out

Good idea! Will have to wait to see how they work. Have a snail problem. Eating all my plant starts.
Early season protection

Great to get an early start in the garden and also to protect new veggie plants from critters
Was an ok purchase.
Although I liked and used this cloche I think I would buy the chicken wire one instead next time! Would work great in a greenhouse but outside amongst the elements it is subject to too many dangers, like cats, squirrels, etc.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Terrific protection from spring frosts
By Tomato Tom

These cloches do an excellent job of protecting cold-sensitive plants from spring frosts, so you can get your tomatoes, peppers, eggplants, etc. off to an early start. The opening at the top allows air to circulate and prevent overheating on sunny days.
